Overall a good company to work for.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThe training is decent, the hourly wage isn't bad and the hours aren't terrible.

ConsLots of changes in the company. Employee appreciation doesn't exist. Company is all about the bottom line. Management makes promises they don't keep and make arrangements for employees without consulting them or involving them in the process. Big lack in communication.

Advice to Senior ManagementValue your employees more. Communicate with them. Include them in decsions regarding their job, hours, location, etc.

ProsI think it is a really interesting time to be apart of Citizens. the company is preparing for its initial IPO and separation from RBS.

ConsIt is still figuring out how to be the most efficient it can be and getting certain system in place as it separates from RBS.

    Hope you like useless paperwork

Assistant Branch Manager - Instore (Current Employee) Philadelphia, PA

Prostime off.. if you are staffed. There are some great people who work in the branches/trenches and I have made some life long friends.

Consuseless paperwork, redundancies and culture of cheaters getting promoted. The more smoke you blow, the higher you rise,

Advice to Senior Managementtake a look at the big picture, stop scrounging for crumbs

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

    Foreign owned, constant change

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

    ProsGood People. Strong history.

ConsCulture is dead. Morale is low. Banking is a tough environment but shouldn't be an excuse to not treat employees with appreciation. Owned by the worst bank in the world....seriously.

Advice to Senior ManagementPositive employee experience and morale, founded on a solid corporate culture breeds profitability and performance.
