    Pros

I love the radio business but...

    Cons

The St Louis leadership starting with Dennis L. (his wife was a manager) and now Beth D. Poor leadership. I would not follow in to battle. "Go up and down Manchester Rd. and collect business cards and bring them back." Huh?

    Advice to Management

Read Dale Carnegie. Quit playing games.

    Pros

It was radio, so it used to be fun. Communication and sharing of ideas was actually good. Invested in technology.

    Cons

Ignored small markets. Too much focus on websites. Fired so many people that they expect you to do the same as you did when there were twice as many people.

    Advice to Management

I worked at Clear Channel part-time

    Pros

    Great working environment. Great people!

    Cons

Do not pay enough for what you do especially in small markets because in smaller markets you have to multitask and do dual roles. Fired most of the on air talent and syndicated the radio shows. The syndicated personalities are not in touch with the community or local issues.

    Advice to Management

Cutthe syndication and bring back the DJ's and on air talent! Pay the talent what they are worth!

    Pros

The lunch cafe in the building

    Cons

They did not allow their interns to learn anything of importance. We did the work that techs did, which was basically standing outside in the freezing cold handing out flyers. The management sucked and they showed favoritism.

    Advice to Management

They shouldn't act so pompous as if their employees do not make a difference in their company's success. Get organized as well.
