    Terrible experience!

    Financial Service Representative (Former Employee)
    Portland, OR

    ProsA steady paycheck. Friendly co-workers.

ConsRegularly work 60 hours plus a week with no over time paid. Commissions structure constantly changing. Manage by put downs.

Advice to Senior ManagementSell to Sprint and close the doors.

One of those places i wish i never worked

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsHonestly, the only benefit of working at Clearwire was the fact i was able to make a lasting relationship even after i left with the rest of my team.

ConsThere are many reasons why one should steer clear of this employeer. To name a few are, very low pay compaired to other companies in the industry, the lack of leadership and communication, the lack of professional growth, and the increasing number of layoffs due to bad finances and upper management inabilities.

Advice to Senior ManagementI believe the management team in corporate needs to be purged. New idea's, business practices, attitude, and general knowledge of the business i believe is the only way to change the face of the company.

Outstanding until the company decided to outsource their customer care and close the call center I worked at.

    Universal Resolutions Specialist (Former Employee)
    Milton, FL

ProsClearwire had a very relaxed work environment the management was awesome and the company as a whole treated everyone like adults, there was absolutely no micro-managing .

ConsSince it is after Clearwire decided to outsource their customer support and lay off about 1500 people in the process I can't think of anything that I wouldn't consider a con at this point.

Advice to Senior ManagementYes, I would like to let them know how horrible the reps are that replaced us. I could understand if the only problem was that they were new to the job but they are rude and the reps that were laid off were so much more customer conscience then the outsourced reps. I hope the company goes Bankrupt!!

Don't expect promotions to be fair

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    Kirkland, WA

ProsPay is alright but raises are very low, even with a great review.

ConsYou can work hard be recognized by your peers, but don't expect promotions. It's not what you do but really who you know. People that are horrible managers get the promotions. They hire consulting companies and bleed millions of dollars without accountability.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop playing favorites, there are many hard working emplyees who would stay if you were more equitable. Many good employees are looking for new jobs and in the long run it will cost you more to replace them, that is of course if you do!

If you are thinking about working here, RUNNNNN

    Indirect Account Executive (Former Employee)

    - Never boring because it's always changing
    - In Boston, great local support staff

Cons- Insane hours Mon-Fri 730am-8pm Sat 10am-5pm ever week.
    - Poor Communication
    - Rude and abusive managers
    - Actual quote from a Regional General Manager- "You should feel like a bad person. If you can't exceed your quota, why are you here"

Advice to Senior Management- Become respectful of your employees.
    - Stop the corporate fraud with credit checks
    - Improve work life balance

    Self Serving

    MGT (Former Employee)
    Reno, NV

ProsGood compensation and benefits packages at the time I was there.

ConsSupport and promotion skewed to those who blindly follow corp leadership. "Are you on the bus?" I saw some really bright people crushed for having independent thought that would have lead to better success for the company. Loopholes and games to move out anyone who supported those who weren't "on the bus". Craig McCaw would have lost a lot of sleep if he'd realized how his Cellular One culture was folded, spindled and mutilated by Clearwire leadership. A lot of his old employees went to Clearwire seeking a similar experience and were sorely disappointed! I am a consummate team player and I was really amazed at the priorities and people that were canonized.

Advice to Senior ManagementLook beyond those who kiss up. There are at least 3 sides to every situation.

I feel as though a different picture was painted for me when I was first offered my job.

    Financial Analyst (Current Employee)

    ProsThe benefits are really good.

ConsNo room for promotion. Raises/promotions not fairly given. Expected to work 10+ hour days.

Worst company I've ever worked for

    Account Services Representative (Former Employee)
    Las Vegas, NV

ProsThe medical, dental, paid vacation & sick leave are the only good things this company has to offer

ConsPoor management; Not informative; Revolving door; Thousands of employees in, thousands out. No job security there. Volatile environment; Hostile workplace

Advice to Senior ManagementClean out your current managers at the Las Vegas Call Center; They made an uncomfortable atmophere to work in!

A pathetic company to work for

Business to Business Account Executive (Former Employee)
    Houston, TX

ProsThey offerred great pay and benefits package.

ConsA pathetic company with a ridiculously high attrition rate and shaky sense of direction as a whole (as you can see from the every day reports). Hired us and laid us off like dogs and later admitted they gave did not even give us the proper tools necessary in order to succeed (which I can assure you they didn't). Had 3 job offers at time of. Made the worse decision of my life to take theirs.

Advice to Senior ManagementRecognize people and the company's ineffieciencies as a whole to hopefully better succeed in the future.
