    Pros

There were indeed good people who wanted the best possible outcome for the company and its customers. The original "start-up" mentality had people working 70+ hours per week, 7 days per week, but you enjoyed the atmosphere and opportunity - hence, it didn't feel like work. Those days changed between 2007 and 2008.

    Cons

Senior management is non existent and/or highly skewed. Promotions, pay raises, stock options, etc are saved for friends and suspect contributors. Communication is a bonus but not a consistent and legitimate option.

Hiring practices were designed around hiring young, inexperienced and unattached employees because they were easier to manipulate. HR is a non-factor. As others have stated on here, there is no work/life balance.

They will spend thousands to save pennies. Some departments and corporate-based employees were spending like it was the dot.com days while others were laying off $20K annual employees due to hemorrhaging financials. Regardless, the CEO make $20+M per year for a company that continues to loss ground in debt and reptuation.

Mass defection of many in senior management recently. Sad part is, the guys left are no better. Just about anyone that is/was good is gone. The battle was lost long ago.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sell and get whatever you can. You've been too narrow minded (for too long) to be picky now.

    Pros

Technology is cool.. and could be great if Upper management would pay attention to what makes a company great and that is its people

    Cons

You will be worked to death 7 days a week, no time off and will be given a guilt trip if you dont work those hours. looking at the hours you work your pay is less than minium wage

    I worked at Clearwire

    Pros

    Good Pay
    Decent Benefits
    Opportunities for advancement

    Cons

Lots of hours without regular days off
Eratic schedule with hours that vary from day to day
    High pressure sales environment
    Little formal training
Expected to train on personal time
    Disorganized and negative work environment

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be clear about job requirements up front. Slow down and focus on formal training for new hires before throwing them on the front lines.

    Pros

The company has good health benefits

    Cons

There is no balance for work and life. You are expected to be available 24/7 and it’s the minimal requirement.

If you like being treated with zero decency only because you get a regular hourly salary, then be my guest!

    I worked at Clearwire

    Pros

For a retail job, the hourly pay is somewhat competitive. It's enough to demand cognitive dissonance of an employee. And the wireless/telecommunications sector is one that will never die so you do get a good resume filler.

    Cons

Talk about ZERO work/life balance. Someone is always getting fired, responsibilities and quotas change without notice so as to make payouts virtually impossible, schedules are communicated at the last minute. Awful!

    Pros

There is only one good thing i can say about this company i hope not to work for in the long run. The only good thing is benefits..

    Cons

This is a bad company to work for, they change management like the weather. There's not consistent policies to follow. actually they really have no good policy to follow. Pay is ok but it could be better. No chance to grow unless you suck up. Hours are ridiculous, if you start to work here plan on not having time for your family.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get better on the management side. Look for the employees that actually do the work. There has to be a better way to reward all employees not just a few with the current rewarding system. The system has a big flaw because it is more like a popularity contest.

    I worked at Clearwire

    Pros

Really liked the other employees, easy to get along with. Managers were nice, they were hounded about sales so they were always micro-managing.

    Cons

Expect you to work non-stop, whatever it takes. Don't worry about having a family or social life outside of this place. The expect way too much from you and it's never enough.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change the way you treat your employees, high pressure is NOT the way to go! Threats are not a way to keep an employee!

The company has potential but the current management running it is somewhat to be desired.

    Cons

You have to have the used car saleman mentalithy to work here. Turnover is like a revolving door! (there's your sign)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bill Morrow has potential and seems to be making changes but the east side of US is being negleted and left in incopetant hands.

Pay is equal to industry standards. Technology has breakthrough potential.

    Cons

No work/life balance. Senior leadership at the time had a churn and burn mentality. I hope it has changed.
