I have been working at Coach

    Pros

The pros are that as long as the store makes there goals, everybody gets a bonus! The discount is great!! & your not extremely over worked for what your paid.also the entry level pay is acceptable.

    Cons

The dress code & some of the stupid little rules. Managers can sometimes be petty & it may serm like there trying to pick on you but the store could be secret shoped at anytime so everything has to be perfect.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    None, company is awsome

I have been working at Coach as an intern (more than an year)

    Pros

Despite going through challenging times, my COACH internship was extremely hands-on and my co-workers were extremely engaging, helpful and more. Not only was I given team tasks, but I was also allowed to sit in on meetings with different executives. It allowed my work to be more tangible and interesting.

    Cons

The company has unbelievable sales that can sometimes entail 50-60% off on COACH apparel but unfortunately, interns are not allowed to enjoy these sales.

I worked at Coach part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

You get to meet so many different types of people. I love the selling atmosphere and the relationships you get to build with the customers.

    Cons

Hours are based on how much sell. There are way too many managers for the amount of employees that are employed. I don't think any retail store of Coach's size to have 9 managers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Why do you need so much management? It seems as if they are tripping over each other.

    Pros

The benefits are good, nice discounts, great management, and the team is like a big family. Coach is becoming a lifestyle brand, and can't wait to see where it goes.

    Cons

Coach should update their POS systems.

I worked at Coach part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

A lot of opportunity for growth if you want it. A lot of corporate interaction.

    Cons

If you want to move up, you may have to move around. They are really heavy on sales, even as a cashier. The amount they want to help/train you is how your management is and your relationship with them. I have worked at a couple of the stores and have friends at a few others so it varies a little at each store.
