    Pros

decent hourly wage and benefits (only if you are full time employee)

    Cons

no benefits for part time workers. only 25 hours a week. management is poor at dealing with employees and ignores them until there is a mistake made. and little chance to move up. also don't seem to care about employees well being as well as the equipment's.

    Advice to Management

Be more of a presence to employees and don't only show up when you have negative things to say or want something done.

    Pros

Great benefits and incentives. Coworkers are extremely friendly and awesome to work with. If you know what you're doing job security is no problem.

    Cons

Pay sucks for the amount of work and time required to complete daily tasks. Turn over is ridiculous.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees what they deserve!!!!!!

    Pros

Flexible work schedule, for the most part. Salesmen work well together as a team.

    Cons

    Not a true sales job

    Advice to Management

Positive reinforcement goes a long way!

    Pros

Insurance, weekly paycheck and 3 days off per week, employee sale on products

    Cons

Bad management, poorly loaded trailers, touching product you have already delivered without help from account developers, account overstock, not getting paid for rotating and stocking overstock, lazy store managers with trashed coolers

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with mutual respect. Too many big egos with supervisors who believe they can belittle employees. Your turn over is high for a reason and you all wonder why nobody wants to cover routes on days off even with an extra incentive.

    Pros

The money is probably the only good part of the job. You get benefits, some money for your car, a cell phone, and a computer. Take the job and look for something better the entire time you are working there.

    Cons

Apologizing for problems daily to unhappy customers. No management assistance. Don't actually sell, just do paperwork on your computer for moving, installing, and removing equipment & write a few orders. Might as well be a secretary....and I hope you like getting yelled out daily by customers who we have screwed up their deliveries, etc. I honestly have had customers (who I have developed very good relationships with) straight tell me that if it wasn't for a product that they needed to carry, or it would hurt their business (because customers want the product), they would never do business with us, because we are so screwed up internally.

    Advice to Management

Don't even know where to start. This could be a novel.

    Pros

Good benefits, off weekends modtvof the time, not in 1 store or place all day.

    Cons

Very long hours, held responsible for things that are not controllable. Long hours

    Advice to Management

Pay merchandizers more so the stores will look better. You get what you pay for but the account developer is held accountable.

    Pros

good benefits, 3 weeks a year of personal vacation, Paid holidays. Since all the newer drivers never pan out, The job security isn't an issue.

    Cons

Long hours, rude customers to deal with daily. It's almost as if the faster you are finishing the routes, the more (cases and stops) gets thrown on to you. While the older and slower guys who are out all day with 400 cases get coddled, with little small routes.

    Pros

Excellent benefits, very laid back, care about employees, push work/life balance, easy to get promoted, mlk, jr bday, veterans day, good Friday, day after turkey day, etc off. Very religious. They have a chaplain on campus, and they believe and encourage employees to serve the community. They also believe that if they take care of their employees, then their employees will do a good job.

    Cons

    Honestly, none. Maybe the commute...maybe?

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're dking. Obviously your system works.

    Pros

The pay is ok. As a driver I make 18.00 an hour. Plus I work a lot of hours. So for louisville, KY the pay is not bad. Of course they provide health insurance and 401k. Stuff you expect from a fortune 500 company.

    Cons

The plant I work at in Louisville KY Is an absolute mess. I am given broken routes that are not realistic. The computer thinks it will only take me 8 or 9 hours to run a certain route when in reality it will take more like 14 hours. We just can't get all of our stops done. Customers are frustrated with us. And drivers are taking short cuts to finish the routes on a timely manner. This is making customers mad at us. A lot of people in deliver to are hostile. The loads that we are delivering want to fall. You will be picking up pallets of spilled coca cola all day long. Most of all this job makes me a glorified stock boy. This is not a driving job. It's a job where you drive a little and stock a lot of shelves. I work 14 hour days 5 days a week... or more. My schedule used to give me 2 days off in a row. 3 days before my weekend management notifies me I will have 1 day off on Sunday and my other day off will be on Wednesday. Say good bye to the weekend. Management will interfere with your life whenever they feel like it. They don't care about their employees. They are not fixing the problems at the plant. All they want to do is overwork everyone.

    Advice to Management

Fix the problems. Listen to your employees. They understand this job. Show how you will fix everything. Compensate Your current employees for putting up with all of your problems. Otherwise everyone is going to leave you behind.
