    Pros

You can move around a lot - across multiple functional areas. Great compensation.

    Cons

Many layers and tons of hierarchy. Prohibits quick decisions and prevents the organization from being nimble.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Flatten the organization. Promote from within vs paying for talent.

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Good salary, benefits, on-site fitness center and parking deck.

    Cons

What you would expect from a big corporation. Slowing moving and hard to get things done. Culture is about self and not company success. Senior managers are sucking away the pride of the brand.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You are making this into a place where people do not like to work and the company has seemed to have lost its historical culture and values.

It wasn't a bad experience it just showed me I didn't want to be a merchandiser as a career.

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company

    Pros

It's the most recognizable brand in the world.

    Cons

Conservative culture. Slow to adopt flexible workplace practices. External hires are given benefit-of-the-doubt seniority versus internal associates with proven experience. One would expect more from this powerhouse company.

    I worked at Coca-Cola Company

    Pros

Company benefits are unmatched. Have the freedom to plan your day and hours. Colleagues are great people to work with.

    Cons

Pay was mediocre at best. Car allowance was a joke the first year of employment for all the miles I was driving. Was expected to succeed without the proper tools. Lots of turnover with management in just under two years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Return to individual bonus pay, not as a whole market unit. Hire more merchandisers to help in store sales reps.

I worked at Coca-Cola Company full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Nationally known Company with excellent benefits, both medical and retirement. Competitive salary. Ever-changing work environment. Good Bonus plan.

    Cons

I worked on the sales-side of the business. The amount of work that management wanted to be done didn't match with the number of hours in a work day. I would start at between 5am-6am everyday, and I usually would finish between 6 - 7pm every evening and I still had things that I could be doing. The account managers that Management saw as model employees, usually work 7 days a week. I have been gone a year, and I have heard it has gotten worse. The distribution side of the business was constantly understaffed. I think in the seven years I worked there they never had a complete staff!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Think outside of the box! Stop promoting employees out of loyalty. Just because a person started as a driver 20 years ago doesn't mean he or she is qualified to be a District Manager! THE GOOD OLE BOY NETWORK should end.
