I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time

    Pros

Great pay and benefits always staying busy during the summer and lots of available time off in winter.

    Cons

Forced overtime and pretty high turnover which makes others have to pick up slack.

    Advice to Management

Care more about employees lives outside of work. Maybe a new form of time off outside of taking weeks at a time.

    Pros

Working as a contractor/consultant at the Coca Cola Company exposes you to a large breadth of technologies as you get involved with multiple projects and initiatives. The level of IT talent is also top tier as Coke has the ability to attract people from all over the world with diverse backgrounds. Working at Coke opens a plethora of career doors should you emerge successful.

    Cons

Working in the Application Operations/Development area, it is very easy to develop the sense of being 'expendable.' Coke has a very contractor friendly environment which discourages most people from applying for permanent positions.

Work/Life balance can also be an issue if you are trying to impress and hope to be offered a full-time role. There also tends to be a lot of restructuring and re-alignment performed that takes an emotional toll on the full-time employees working there that can have an indirect consequence on the ability to manage and fulfill core project deliverables
    (on-time, on budet, etc).

    Advice to Management

Have a strategy and plan to retain your top IT talent. Build effective performance metrics to evaluate and assess individuals. Often times, decisions to down-size are made with dollar figures in mind without considering the business impact and individual has.

    Pros

The atmosphere is great and co-workers are fun. Depending on your supervisor, it can be a fun place to work. I've enjoyed my time in my position. The pricing coordinator role is not an extremely difficult position, but you have the opportunity to create new processes and make yourself stand out. Decent benefits.

    Cons

They do not pay very well and do not try to keep their better employees when the employee receives and offer elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

Recognize talent and compensate for those that go above and beyond the day-to-day tasks.

    Pros

The company culture: friendly, open and fun
Benefits: One of the best, fair amount of vacation
    Patient & forgiving management team
Good teamwork between QA and production
    Open communication allowed
    Great compensation

    Cons

Long work hours, with sometimes not reaching 40 hour work week
    Noise level: very high
Lots of drama when employees don't get along
    Openly microaggressive sexism against females
Repetitive duties, with no sense of autonomy
Working in a Republican state, exec views were incongruent with Coca Cola's policies towards employees (openly discriminated against gays)

    Advice to Management

Suggestion: 360 degree review for ALL level of employees because there is a high turnover rate for management and lower level employees. (Rate bosses, coworkers, clients, and suppliers)
