    Pros

    My sales manager was great.

    Cons

Product set is limited and overpriced (offnet). The CRM in place is from the stone age.

    Pros

    Good people. Good training.

    Cons

For the West region the product is to over priced to sell and they do not have a big enough name to have such a high price. The reps in the East have been with the company for a while and they are the only reps making good money. They want you to get leads, qualify and close but cold calling is dead and they do not understand that. It would be better if the company had a telemarketing group and a Regional Account Manager who went out and help close the deal.

    Advice to Management

Get appointment setters, the company has no name and need to have advertisement, lower your rates, have David get more Lit Building for the west reps to generate business and not fight over limited scraps.

    Pros

Gain good experience, it's like going to school.

    Cons

Intense and stressful at first, especially if you have no experience. Expect to learn complex technologies and processes on the job while on the phone with customers. Low pay

    Advice to Management

Offer praise to your hard working employees. As they become more valuable to the company they should be paid more.

    Pros

Training was fun and you were tested on what you learnt. This is a very corporate environment, very competitive sales team. There is a Sales Engineer on hand for more complicated deals to help with the simplest integration of our products and services.

    Cons

Very high turn over of staff and managers.

    Pros

Good product set, good coworkers, yearly sales kickoff, good training, monthly $500 expenses, very flat organization, easy products to "sell".

    Cons

Poor sales management, no tools for outside workforce, antiquated Seibel CRM, remote VMware desktop is spotty due to few licenses, lack of strategy to seize territory from competitors, limited product set, nepotism, compensation plans change to the companies favor against the sales reps with NO explanation at all,

    Advice to Management

Hire managers that are not just revenue leaders but are real leaders. The Regional Sales Manager should be the Mayor. There should be a clear leader in the office without nepotism. Buy more fiber and infrastructure to keep up with other tier 1 providers.

    Pros

    -casual work environment
    -friendly peers
    -company sales kick off

    Cons

    -old school work environment
    -lack of training
-no flexibility in daily arrival and departure - even if your kids are sick or traffic is terrible
-HR is terrible and overlooks VERY important details
-there is no culture, or values
    -they do not value employees
    -low compensation

    Advice to Management

get it together - don't sell the organization for what it is, a good opportunity for people to get a start in their career, but nowhere to stay.

    Pros

Decent place to start in telecom. Learn about data. Good stepping stone.

    Cons

Horrible Management in the NY office. Very racist atmosphere. You have to be liked by management to make money here. If not it does not matter how hard you work you will not be rewarded. Only the liked reps get all the good accounts and referral agents even if they can't sell on their own.. It does not matter your ability to sell. If your liked you will do well. If your a minority good luck. As most if tge sales are inbound. Very cancerous environment.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the current management it's a very cancerous environment.

    Pros

Highly competitive industry with a narrow product set which is a plus & a good opportunity to make some $$$ if you're willing to bust your butt in your first year there.

    Cons

High turnover across the company & there appears to be a reluctance to change with the times where they are falling behind in comparison to some of the competition. Not much a culture here besides hitting your numbers.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your systems & the cloud, you're an internet company!

    Pros

Great network, good training, got to travel a bit

    Cons

Oversaturated on net market, not competitive in off net situations and takes many months to be paid commission. More like a telemarketing job, usually no one wants to talk to you.

    Advice to Management

    Its all a joke
