most dysfunctional place I have ever worked

    Director (Current Employee) Bellevue, WA

Pros$ - that is the only good thing here. The pay won't last if you yo don't play along with the Charade

ConsLack of leadership and Sr experience leads to a high school atmosphere with mistrust and sabotage in areas of weakness

Advice to Senior ManagementReplace your most senior people, or get advice from someone that has actually brought products to market. You are playing with Amateurs

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Glad to be out of there.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

    ProsBenefits. Benefits. Benefits. Benefits. Benefits.

ConsLack innovation in redbox and coinstar. Politics rules the day.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to folks other than yourselves.

Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Former Employee) Bellevue, WA

ConsThey think of you as a number and management is a joke

worked for 13 years as field tech on the coin side

Field Service Tech (Former Employee) Chattanooga, TN

ProsIt been a year so I would not know what perks are left. You get a phone for company use.

ConsThe company changed it's coin field from techs to service people and are paying them half of what they used to pay. Over the last year they have pushed out all the long time techs for people that can only do cleaning on the units. Managers are trying to cover for lack of techs.

Advice to Senior ManagementRemember you get the kind of employee you pay for. Your turn over is killing your field service.

    Talking about hypocrisy and backstabbing!

    Manager (Current Employee) Bellevue, WA

    ProsFree Food and free DVDs

    ConsWay too many to list

Advice to Senior ManagementBe honest with your employees, don’t just talk about integrity, rather practice and believe in it. Having a bunch of lame and dis-honest manager will ultimately fail you. Promote with in rather than off the street

    Honestly; is this a joke?

IT - Shared Services (Current Employee) Bellevue, WA

ProsLittle to no work; work is never tracked; free parking; free string cheese. Been here just under six months and received a bonus.

ConsManagement is the biggest joke I have ever seen. 12 Employees and 4 managers on 1 team. Everything within my team is, laughable!

Advice to Senior ManagementFrom SVP down in IT need to be replaced. This company with save 40% of the IT budget with competent leadership.

Everyone is on a PIP here?

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

    ProsFree movies and free snacks.

ConsThey take no ownership of Performance Management. Everyone here is on a PIP, set up to fail and then let go. They have no interest in keeping good employees by offering them chances to succeed. I'm amazed at the incompetence.

Advice to Senior ManagementFire everyone in HR and start all over again. Why do you need 40 people in your HR Organization?

There is too much "Tribal Knowledge" and not enough professionalism.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsCasual environment and some friendly team meetings, although with limits.

ConsToo many cones of silence within departments and not enough communication throughout.

Advice to Senior ManagementTake care of what you have instead of chasing the next moneymaker.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
