    Pros

Great co-workers, good discount. Nice customers. Good product.

    Cons

Low wages. No insurance. Temp to hire was my status.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees more. You we receive harder workers, and lest employee turnover.

    I worked at Coldwater Creek

    Pros

friendly co-workers, good at allowing time off and working around your schedule, nice employee discount available, hours are reasonable and management is good at providing the number of hours requested

    Cons

there are not too many cons at this company, as they try to work with the employees for the most part, but the back room in some of the stores are very difficult to work in as they are very crowded

    Pros

I enjoyed my time working at Coldwater Creek. The staff was friendly and helpful and made me feel like I had been there forever.

    Cons

The company declared bankruptcy not long after I was hired. I do believe the quality of their clothing, that had declined in the last couple of years had something to do with it. Along with refunds for clothes that were years old.

    Advice to Management

It's a shame you ran this company into the ground by refunding clothes that were months, even years old, running sales that became so ridiculous that they didn't mean anything anymore.

    Pros

Located in a small town, the benefits and pay were good in comparison to any other local companies. People were excellent to work with and many friendships were made.

    Cons

Extremely top-heavy company and management had little direction of where to take the company. The hard choices to close unprofitable stores was never taken and the company went bankrupt.

    Pros

They care a lot about every customer as if they were family. They treat us as family too.

    Cons

One boss I had was insecure about herself - so she didn't train anyone or give out any information to help us. We had to figure things out on our own.

    Advice to Management

ALL companies should just show up to see what is really happening in its places without notice. Too many people in Management cover up -- and when notified -- go to extreme to get ready for upper management to go there. Then as soon as they leave - it all goes back to their way and not the Company way.

    Pros

The customer service module is amazing! Clienteleing is a huge part and so much fun. Great discount. Great benefits and pay.

    Cons

The workload is bigger than most jobs I've held. But not enough to kill you. The company allowed enough staff to spread the workload.

    Pros

It was a team atmosphere where everyone was helping each other out. There was also room for advancement. Liked that we were empowered to do what it took to make each customer have a delightful experience in our store.

    Cons

The rate of pay and raises could have been improved.

    Advice to Management

Wish that upper management would have listened to us more at the store level regarding policies and procedures of what was and was not effective. There were also to many floor sets and changes. Promotions and offers changed so much that it got confusing for both customers and sales associates alike.
