    I worked at Coldwell Banker

    Pros

Had my own office, pay raises were fair

    Cons

I felt like the real estate agents demands were not reasonable considering there was one of me to over 40 of them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide a couple of personal assistants or an incentive to have a personal assistant once s certain tier is reached by the agent.

I have been working at Coldwell Banker part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Exemplary Training, great website, and Brand recognition are a few of the perks offered at Coldwell Banker.

    Cons

As an Independent Contractor, your need to be ambitious to succeed. Commission only positions can be challenging when slow market conditions exist. Finding business in the beginning can be very challenging. Being in an Realtor requires some money time and during the learning curve.

I worked at Coldwell Banker full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The people and management were great. They offer a good vacation schedule and benefits in the regional head quarters. They also fostered a friendly work environment by hosting friendly competitions throughout the year for prizes

    Cons

They would rarely increase wages and when they did it wasn't enough to make any difference

    Pros

Great company support for both new and seasoned agents. This is a first class top service real estate agency that truly cares about their customers and agents.

    Cons

Some local managers tend to play favorites making it difficult for less popular agents who ironically need their guidance and support the most.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep on top of local management to enforce fairness.

I worked at Coldwell Banker full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

As a new agent I appreciated the initial training, having a manager on site that was there to answer questions & provide support (rather than sell) and weekly trainings in the office. The recognized brand is also helpful.

    Cons

The commission split is low compared to other brokerages. I considered this a trade off for the support I was receiving however, it made it difficult to survive with a few initial transactions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to offer the great training. Allow for quicker increases in commission...maybe after the first transaction?

Management needs to have greater oversight of listing departments,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest more money into listings department, consider paying listing agents more to create a even stronger database.
