Motivated and empowered workforce delivering quality results

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

Proswork life balance is an advantage along with the culture of promoting from within but we should send our operational key performers specially skilled personnel to learn new trends in similar or different business ,so that we are trendsetters in our business

ConsI am only as good as who I know and how I sell myself ,not on results I deliver based on challenges faced .
Top management need to invest time in
    strategy development
    strategy deployment
strategy execution at unit level based on the challenges of individual units
Eye for detail in managers for competency and efficiency in job, lead by example attitude
why why analysis by management why some initatives are success and what and who made it possible so that same or similar success stories can be written across organisation

Advice to Senior ManagementStrategy deployment to each unit through focused communication channels to the lowermost employees ,along with individual benefits of exceeding targets
Clarity in writing on packages and role expectations, and delivering by promises made during the interviewing process ,otherwise we would have employed great people ,de-motived and producing mediocre results

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Big company feel

Marketing (Current Employee) Toronto, ON (Canada)

Pros-If you are in the head office or a regional office, you work very independently
-Option to work from home on occasion
-Reduced cost or free meals when visiting units
    -Promotes diversity
-A lot of exposure to many different industries and companies

    Cons-Only internal education programs available
    -High turnover
-Large departments spread across the country means you don't get much face to face time with your peers
    -Poor financial compensation

Advice to Senior ManagementCompass is a big company and feels really big - in the sense that you don't really know how you fit into the bigger picture as an employee.

    Doesn't care about employees

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

Prosgood benefits, freedom to make your own schedule, good health and safety systems in place, good out sourcing for other "brands"

ConsPaid grid is horrible, no sales bonus or any bonus, lack of leadership in upper management, its understandable when you are salary to spend a significant amount of time at work however this is not the best to work for if you have a family or social commitments of any kind. They expect you to work non stop, with little pay and no support.

    Status Quo organization

Counter Attendant (Current Employee) Waterloo, ON (Canada)

ProsGood benefits if you meet full-time criteria.

ConsEmployees lower than Supervisory status are not able to receive raises or promotions.

Advice to Senior ManagementIf you value those few hard-working, honest individuals who do their job day-to-day, year after year, you should show them how much you appreciate them by giving them bonuses, raises, and/or promotions on a regular basis. It makes for good business and it boosts morale. Happy employees means happy customers!
