Current Employee – been working at Compass Health
Pros – Not many. Good benefits if they'll give them to you. Stable industry. Healthcare isn't as affected by the economic downturn. Central Cali is a nice place to live.
Cons – Culture is lacking in integrity and morals. Upper management misrepresent company values. Very shady HR practices and poor communication throughout entire organization.
Advice to Senior Management – Talk is cheap. Don't pretend to have high morals and values. Improve communication throughout all levels of company. Improve HR practices for all levels of company.

Former Employee – worked at Compass Health full-time for less than a year
Pros – Lots of locations and programs to work for. Ok benefits. Some employees are for real doing a good job.
Cons – Mgmt. provides workplace bullies a safe haven. Impossible schedule for a sustained time working all 3 shifts every single week for weeks on end (graves, swing & day). Excellent work not expected, personal friends are hired, so they are protected no matter how much work they refuse to do.
Advice to Senior Management – Take time to listen to employees and invest in learning how to provide a harassment-free environment and don't expect new employees especially to deal with office harassment.

Former Employee – worked at Compass Health
Pros – One of the few places to work in the San Luis Obispo County, lower level workers tend to be supportive of each other, patients are remarkable and inspiring individuals, company offers workers a chance for entering the local College's nursing program
Cons – The company lost over 30 employees who reported being mistreated as the reason why
understaffed patient ratios, lack of essential supplies for patient care, letting experienced staff members to hire new people at a lower rate, false anonymous hotline, callers to the anonymous hotline are called in for retaliation, callers names are publicly given to others, promotions are given to those who are involved with upper management, work schedules are changed at any time without notifying employees
Advice to Senior Management – Please support your workers, profit is not worth more than happy patients and happy employees
