Just about to complete FMT program

    Field Manaement Trainee (Current Employee)
    Chicago, IL

ProsAll-encompassing training program. Learn duties of several different positions. From what it seems advancement is obtainable if you are willing to relocate to the position available. Makes sense.

ConsUncertain of where and what I'll be doing after program. Pay is low but not terrible considering food, lodging and gas is covered.

Advice to Senior ManagementTry to prepare trainers better. Several times I trained at a service center where my primary trainers were apathetic and really tried to just ignore me.

    Great Company to work for

    Customer Service Representative (Current Employee)
    Greencastle, PA

ProsHighly concerned with employee engagement. Rewards employees for accomplishments. Emphasis on saftey. Love idea of saftey principale #1 Expect every company to return home safetly. Core Values are shown in management roles. Implementing lean practices to make world load more balanced.

ConsSurvey employees more than once a year. Better manger to employee communication.

Advice to Senior ManagementPromote more from within. Do not overlook your customer service department. Even though we do not work the freight we have a very valuable position, helping customers and assisting them with keeping up with their shipments.

Very good company. Dispatchers have time to listen to any complains that you might have.

    Truck Driver (Current Employee)
    Joplin, MO

ProsThey will., management will listen to you.

ConsOTR., just like all the others companies out there.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe OTR drivers should get more miles to compensate staying out for so long. The bench mark is 2500 miles just like all those companies out there, but what if at the end of the week you can make the same amount back home. Just think about that.
