    Pros

Pay is good for the area I have flexible hours I like my boss

    Cons

Distance to drive Boss is out of the country Co-Workers always put off to the last min to do things. Not much room for advancement in my field at the local level. I would have to move.

I have been working at Convergys full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Ability to work at home, which is wonderful! Convergys has many different clients that are available to work for. Excellent benefits, tuition reimbursement, and a great discount program. Ability to make commission, depending on the client and bonuses for performance.

    Cons

The help desk, for any system problems you have isn't very helpful. Training, while it's so much fun and informative, does not necessarily prepare you for everything. There isn't much support when you need help with a call, there is usually long wait times to get help. The hours, unless you get lucky, are not that great and are not very consistent throughout the week.

    Advice to Management

Staff more people to help with calls to help the representatives keep their call time down.

I have been working at Convergys full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You get a desk, air conditioning, and easy work. You can switch your days off. You get PTO every paycheck.

    Cons

Point system for absent, late or early leave. After a certain amount your fired. The customers are rude, don't want to listen to what you have to say and talk over you. If it's slow they send most people home and leave a couple people with calls back to back. You can't read, or anything when it's really slow and you sit their watching the screen.

I have been working at Convergys full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Great Work. - Good Pay. - Consistant schedule. - Relatively Easy work.

    Cons

    - Things change. Fast... No I mean like hourly. - Almost impossible standards that it's pretty clear the client doesn't even hold themselves too. - There is almost no workplace standard. You will work with some real scumbags and thieves. Convergys don't care.

I have been working at Convergys full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Mostly great clients. There's room for advancement and opportunity to gain a mentor. Continued training helps keep employees abreast polices and procedures.

    Cons

A decent amount of "pass the buck" on top of continuous change makes for difficult job completion sometimes. Ownership seems to be hard to come by these days.

    Advice to Management

    Review employee performance more often.

I have been working at Convergys full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly co-workers, and decent benefits. Plus, they have generous time-off policies and ample overtime available

    Cons

Low pay, not a lot of choice in schedules, and some poor tools to work with on the job. You have to arrive five minutes before your shift to be ready.

    Advice to Management

Pay the help better and give them better tools to use. Don't make them enter three different passwords just to log in for a shift
