    I have been working at Convergys full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    I enjoy working with agents that chat in with me with issues with their service. They chat in very up set, and not able to help the customer with their issue. On a daily research is requied so that I can educate the agents on has to be done in order to resolved the customer issue.

    Cons

    The down side of my job is if the systems go's down I will not be able to help the customer with their issue.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I talk to my manager all the time so that I can keep up with the changes and new projects that we might have coming to our company. I always happy to help anyone that needs my assistance in solving their issue.

    40 plus hours a week and excellent training

    Cons

    The initial software installation is a bit time consuming however you are paid for your time

    Pros

    Started as an agent and moved to Supervisor, Operations Manager and then Sr Operations Manager. Partner with different verticals. Supports and develops its employees.

    Cons

    Instability due to client needs, lower pay due to being a 3rd party provider. No work and life balance

    Pros

    Good benefits and paid time off. Room to move up and around Great people for the most part. No matter where you work there is always one or two bad eggs but that's rare

    Cons

    Too many jobs offshore. Hiring externally offered higher pay than if it were an internal promotion

    None really. Other than looking at paying internal better than external hires

    Good pay, get a chance to meet a lot of people. Can have your tech license

    Management needs improvement. Bug problem.they train when they are ready.

    Pros

    Set a high bar for my first wah, great training and helpful managers. I serviced AT&T, they show u how to deal with rude customers.

    Cons

    The benefits were not that good. Nothing much else was wrong, if u wanted to work u could with no problem.

    Pros

    They tend to have a keen sense for hiring good people. Advancement opportunities were were relatively bountiful in the time that I worked there (21 months in Omaha, NE), for two reasons: mainly an overall high turnover rate because this line of work requires patience, and secondly because they secured another vendor contract while I worked there, creating several immediate openings.

    Cons

    Lower pay than the industry average, very dull company to work for with stagnant stock that never really grew because of a lack of PR exposure; no one really knows who they are. No real fringe benefits, just your basic line-up of Med/Vision/Dental/401k

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Push for a budget to motivate your employees. I've seen a few of you exhibit admirable attempts but it takes a lot more than China-made trinkets to motivate grown folks. I'm talk monetary bonus programs, etc...

    Team leads are very helpful with each member of there team ,awesome games played for people who makes a sell,very reasonable,friendly

    Cons

    must meet your goals for sales per week and must be respectful to customers and knowledgeable of long-time customers who enjoys the service.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    The guy who's the head of location in Logan ut is a very fun,funny guy who will be on your side all the way if you're doing what you're hired for and honest with him there's nothing they won't do for there employee's.
