I worked at Corinthian Colleges (Less than a year)

    Pros

It was a pretty easy job. Worked with students in their Wyotech school. The salary was alright, around $35,000 a year. What you would expect for this type of position. Staying in touch with students regarding their education and coursework.

    Cons

Sometimes students seemed unmotivated. Some of the students had a lot of family or personal issues that hindered them from finishing. High student turnover rate.

    Advice to Management

Better student vetting process and family participation to reduce amount of students not graduating. I hear the corporation has closed so this campus may no longer be open.

I have been working at Corinthian Colleges full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Offer great education to help students who couldn't make it in traditional school. There is a good work/ life balance at least in my department.

    Cons

There is a disconnect between upper management and the campuses. When roll outs happen the end user is not always considered. Most directors of education on the campus work 14 hour days every day which leads to a high turn over.

    Advice to Management

Better communication, inspect what you expect on campuses.
