I have been working at Corinthian Colleges full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

CCi is a very professional company. One that focuses on their customer and their employees. They always do the right thing for both. It provides many opportunities to its employees; training, promotions and benefits. There are over 15,000 employees but the way they treat you, you wouldn't know it.

    Cons

The only personal challenge I have experienced is traffic driving into work everyday. That isn't something that the company caused; I made the choice to commute every day. It was well worth it. I love my job, who I work for and with.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My advice to management is to keep on doing what you're doing for as long as you can. You are providing a tremendous education to students and a future they may not have been able to experience. Don't allow the regulators to make you look bad. You make professional, ethical decisions regarding students, employees and the future of the company every day.

    Pros

    Pay was decent that's it.

    Cons

Management treats employees very poor and unfair and cannot lead a team effectively. Lying to student about big opportunities when they are gonna end up in debt with no job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn how to respect your employees instead of talking down on them and learn some management skills and you will get better results

    Pros

Great salary, good pay, always promoting within. Always have a chance too succeed, management always want too see you do better which is really good!

    Cons

The phone database needs to be updated! A lot of the time your calling the same students more than once and that makes them lose leads.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what your doing! Helping people! :-)

    Pros

Positive environment based on improving the lives of people who just need someone to believe in them.
Enough resources to do the job

    Cons

A for-profit college is certainly a different environment than a public institution, but the students who take advantage of what they are paying for get a great education.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please try to increase budgets for the tech programs. We can't deliver the best training without the tools! A dedicated IT lab with current equipment and resources would benefit the students immeasurably.

Encouraging atmosphere, team oriented, contributes to personal and professional growth, culture of fun and hard work, committed to company core values, great benefits

    Cons

Many people have a negative view of for-profit post secondary education, the parking structure was designed in a strange way, making it time consuming to get in and out.
