    Pros

Managers are good. Good pay for a good job. Customers are great, product is great. Fun environment, and I enjoy going to work.

    Cons

Poor communication with upper management. Good workers are leaving due to issues with upper management, not store managers. Stop changing policy all the time and stick with consistent models because it's costing you quality sales associates and selling supervisors.

    Advice to Management

We're doing the best that we can but with the recent price increases and sometimes unrealistic individual and store goals, sales haven't been great. Also, you can't keep adding more paperwork to opening/closing procedures and expect us to get everything done in the same amount of time. Please listen to the people who are on your floors, we know what's going on in the stores and we have valuable advice

    Pros

Most products are well made. The product knowledge manual is very helpful when explaining the benefits of usage. The discount is great and the foot traffic is low so you're not stressed like other high volume retailers. These are small boutique like stores with a handful of staff. Request your days off in advance.

    Cons

Low pay and slow foot traffic so there's not much to do. I worked there part-time evening/weekends for 1 year and we were only busy during the holidays. Upper management set unreasonably high sales goals.

    Advice to Management

Management should increase pay and bonus to maintain quality staff and remain in competition with other stores that sell like products.

    Pros

Good discount on a product that makes great gifts.

    Cons

No brand awaremess in my area which equals no traffic in the store. Unrealistic sales goals on days when the store has little to no traffic. Can be very boring. Lack of training. Computer systems are slow and you fill in reports that the company should have the software to create.

    Advice to Management

When opening in an area that you have virtually no brand awareness do some local marketing. Newspapers, direct mail etc.... Also, make it a priority to train employees from the beginning. Your employees are your link to the customer. The representation of your brand.

    Pros

Very good benefits program, solid compensation package, strong sales & marketing team. Opportunities for growth throughout the world in multiple channels; retail, wholesale, and online.

    Cons

Lack of leadership and vision for future growth. Turnover in c-level leadership and a lack of urgency to fill the voids and provide direction to the company. 6 month gap with no CEO-level leadership.

    Advice to Management

Define a direction and support a vision for growth.

    Pros

Flexible with scheduling, relaxed and friendly environment, Limited stocking/cleaning duties because it's a small store

    Cons

Cash register system can be faulty, demanding and impatient higher management (district managers, etc.), Clientele can be tough to please

    Advice to Management

Remember that you're selling bath products. We're doing the best we can and trying to make vapid products look like necessities, but repackaging products and selling them for a higher price annoys customers and there really isn't anything we can do to change that.

    Pros

The only positive aspects about working for this company was sharing experiences with the clients.

    Cons

Incredibly undercompensated despite the high price points. Low-quality corporate employees is leading to low quality in-store staff.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the individuals in your retail stores, they experience the customers on a daily basis and have amazing ideas to improve sales, products and merchandising.

    Pros

You get to test products and you leave smelling good.

    Cons

It was very disorganized. They displays took days to complete. and sometimes after you completed them they would tell you to take it down.

    Advice to Management

Please look at who you are hiring as managers. The people that I have talked to at various stores all loved who they were working with but hated management.
