    Pros

Free crocs, excellent discount. Shoes are extremely comfortable so it's easy to stand behind the product.

    Cons

This company needs to become more customer and associate friendly. They claim to be a "green" company when you read the paperwork during the onboarding process. Sounds excellent, NOT! I have never seen so much paperwork in the retail store front in my 30 years of retail. It's so repetitive and unnecessary. I'm not sure Crocs even understands what their own mission statement is considering it's impossible to live by with what they expect you to do. The focus is not on the customers because you're too busy filing out 10,000 papers. What company still makes you hand write your till counts!?!?! Incredibly old school and not SMART. You want to have well trained associates? Make the systems smart and you'll have less mistakes.

    Advice to Management

TRUST YOUR EMPLOYEES AND BE MORE TRANSPARENT. Provide a smarter training system as well as a new POS system. Something current and user friendly. All these procedures writing everything down instead of utilizing technology is killing us. We should not have to write down on a sheet every return and exchange as well as reprint the receipt. WASTEFUL! Envelopes? WASTEFUL AND WASTE OF TIME. HAVE A SMARTER SYSTEM AND YOU WONT HAVE HUMAN ERRORS. That is just ONE example of many issues. We still have to manually scan a bar code for customers discounts? Get that updated in the system so it generates sales automatically. Returns for customers are not fast and efficient. If they got it on sale watch out, it's a huge conundrum to figure it out. WE NEED A SMART SYSTEM. Processing shipment is a nightmare. Allow us to scan the box and be done with it. We can't run our business to success unless you provide sound tools. Also, how are we supposed to run a store on 130 hours? Crocs could be so great, so customer focused, sadly until you make some SERIOUS changes it will NEVER happen. I COULD GO ON FOREVER. PLEASE LISTEN AND ASK YOUR EMPLOYEES WHAT YOU CAN DO TO ENSURE US TO RUN OUR BUSINESS SUCCESSFULLY, because what you're doing now IS NOT WORKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All I want to do is love my job. :(

    Pros

Wonderful "technology" that has worldwide appeal
A unique position in the market place
Crazy good margins due to: Mold tech, cheap materials, lightweight, no packaging, easy supply chain (theoretically)
    Boulder, CO Location

    Cons

Worst supply chain in the HISTORY of footwear (anyone in the "know" will acknowledge).
McCarval KILLED the company with his mismanagement and psychopathic behavior.
ZERO strategy for the last 3 years. Make that 4 since the new guys and gals will take 6 months to find the bathrooms.
No demand generation investment (e.g. Advertising) since 2010

    Advice to Management

Waiting well over a year for a guy who had a non compete from a slightly above average company was a HUGE mistake that put the company in "limbo" for 2+ years since it was dead in the water in 2013 with McCarvel...BOD knew this from Day #1 in 2013 since Ribatt was on the board...for a consumer brand, time is not their friend. Are the BOD purposely trying to "tank" the company to take it private? 100% of their decisions (if you can call them that) to date have been personal wealth motivated, so I fear that this is the direction. If so, why compensate the Executive Staff higher than any other footwear company, even Nike (google it, it's true) if you're going to fire a big chunk of the work force, close 100+ stores, not open any new ones, cut the line, not even bother to move the new Exec hires to where the company is located (wouldn't it be more economical to pay to move three people vs. move the whole company to Boston?) and essentially take the company to sub 1 Billion? Sad for the employees, shareholders and crocs consumers.

    Pros

Can't think of any. This was a really terrible experience all the way around.

    Cons

There were 4 district managers in less than a year, all of whom did everything differently. There was little clear direction, crazy unrealistic expectations, and little to no onboarding or training. Long after I was gone, I heard from a reliable source (and this can be documented) that they were still disparaging my character and lying about why I left the company. I guess that's no surprise.

    Advice to Management

Leave if you have some place to go!

The only positive thing about working here is casual dress code.

    Cons

The upper management district level and above are very unprofessional and disorganized.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your store and assistant managers and their hr complaints before you end up with ANOTHER lawsuit.

    Pros

discount makes the shoes priced where they should be
    casual dress
some really good and passionate people

    Cons

    Self-important leadership
Clique-ish management circles where the "in crowd" plots again "the people who don't matter" (actual quotes)
    ZERO focus on cultural behaviors
Duplicitous leadership mantra - tell the masses what they want to hear, then do what you want

    Advice to Management

Congratulations on all your success. For all your accomplishments and competency, hows the company performance and attrition improved based on anything you've done? By a mirror, read more, and stop, just sop what you are doing. Look like your moving to Boston...good luck with your golden parachutes :-/

    Pros

Ice cream Thursdays and corn hole.

    Cons

Crocs has been an enormous disappointment. It is the worst management and company I have ever worked for. There is no training, yet you are expected to know everything about your job on day one. Basic useful information does not exist and countless hours are spent trying to obtain answers just to do your job. The employees who have been here for a long time and have the knowledge/tools/information, refuse to help and simply let the new people struggle.

Forget talking to anyone in human resources. They are a terribly unhelpful group and rarely return phone calls or respond to emails. None of them are friendly and they seem downright miserable - like it's a chore for them to even say "hi".

The management team makes awesome salaries and bonuses while paying the rest of us way below market. Management members don't listen and tend to be exceedingly rude and dismissive towards the employees. Crocs is supposed to be "FUN" (one of their supposed values), but it is far from it. People here are miserable and on edge. Too many bad business decisions and mistakes are made every day. It's sickening to witness.

There's much more, but I won't waste any more time. I need to find another job because I am not going down with this doomed ship.

    Advice to Management

Wake up. Get rid of the CFO before he destroys the entire company. He is negatively impacting the whole organization with his outrageous disrespectful behavior, lack of integrity, and complete failure to listen or communicate. Which is why most of the employees are questioning why he is in the position he is. He has no business managing people whatsoever. The company hasn't been able to find a new CEO. No wonder. Who wants to take over this mess? It would be best to sell the company as quickly as possible to someone who actually knows what it takes to run a successful shoe business. Good luck.

    Pros

    Not much.. Good benefits

    Cons

Extremely little support from the corporate level. . Mismanaged on the district and regional level. Corporate focus is constantly changing with zero input or consideration for the store level.

    Advice to Management

Consider your store level employees who decidedly handle the success of your company.
