I worked at Cymer as an intern

    Pros

Highly organized work culture. Good guidance from fellow employees.
A lot of fellow interns present with me made me feel it more comfortable.
Got to learn a lot about work-life balance.

    Cons

Though at times good work can be done, we will be running around the organization to get permissions.
At time, permissions are denied as well or simply expressed as inability to adapt change.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Update the technologies being used.

    Pros

Great high tech business, get to work with really bright folks, market leader, now an ASML company, leading lithography supplier, Pace is fast, but typically flexible, depending on status of your project. Expectations are high, but good work is appreciated.

    Cons

Somewhat inefficient due to struggles of recent buy out, Varied quality of senior management staff. Cyclical Semiconductor industry. Normal risk with any high tech semiconductor equipment supplier,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Senior management should stop micro managing. Leave the details to the middle managers and employees, Lead by example providing quality and not just speed. Take on fewer initiatives and changes, but do them well.
