    Pros

great benefits, decent time-off policies, decent career opportunities globally, not domestically

    Cons

little to no career growth opportunities domestically, slightly oppressive/dry/straight-laced traditionally corporate office culture, not as flexible in terms of schedule

    Advice to Management

strive for better office culture with more relaxed environment, focus on team-bonding initiatives

    Pros

A true luxury global retailer. You will learn so much about the complexities of doing business internationally - from cultural nuances to demographic preferences.

    Cons

As a subsidiary of LVMH, it felt like everything was driven by meeting shareholder expectations, whether or not it was realistic for the company.

    Advice to Management

Recognize and reward your key talent. Hire people, especially in the planning world. More often than not, teams are extremely lean causing people to burn out rather quickly.

    Generally, superiors/seniors are approachable.

    Pros

Great company culture. Very smart enthusiastic people. Opportunity to directly impact business and have great exposure to many markets.

    Cons

Lots of political infighting at senior management level. Lack of clear direction from senior managers. Extremely heavy workload with piles of projects that are all urgent. Poor systems for managing business.

    Advice to Management

Take an in-depth look at workloads across the company from multiple view points. When strategies are announced have the support behind them to make it successful. Focus more on growing existing operations and less on expansion. Make a decision and execute it consistently across the company.

    Pros

Employee discounts extended to a wide range of luxury goods sold in the stores.
    Adequate welfare and benefits.

    Cons

    Slow career growth and progression.
Fast track reserved for those with local degrees and accounting majors.
I have a degree but am grossly underpaid in spite of my years of experience and qualifications, at least in comparison to my peers.
Seemingly open culture but only semi-transparent and subject to the dynamics of interpersonal relationships.
Work performance is moderated by the bell curve, which means ratings typically hover in the ''meet expectations" range, and that is difficult to make the leap to the next one.

    Advice to Management

    Listen.
