    I worked at DTI

I have been working at DTI full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I was not micro managed which was great. I did received merit raises all years I worked here so hard work is noticed in that regard.

    Cons

No room for growth. I was told for three years that I would be promoted and yet I never was. The merit increases were very small. I also received an award which I did not receive until about 8 months after I won the award plus 6 months after I left the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stick with the promises that are made, and also reward those who deserve it more.

I worked at DTI full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Nice environments but some hostile managers who like to hire, intimidate employees. Company is good with flexibility and bonuses, but some managers (personality conflicts -- show of power) intimidate their juniors and end up either the employee quit or relieved of their jobs.

    Cons

    No growth path. Hostile Managers

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

IT department run less qualified personnel who like to show their powers.

    Cons

Don't expect any raises. What you get, is what you get. Also, your responsibilities will increase with no change in pay.
