I have been working at DTI (More than 10 years)

    Pros

DTI is a fast growing. They are the fastest growing company in their industry. There are always new opportunities at DTI. This company is for people who want to make name for themselves.

    Cons

DTI is light on training in certain roles.

    Advice to Management

Start a matching 401k plan. I would see a more defined professional development program.

I have been working at DTI full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Ongoing sales training, freedom to build one's book of business, no micro managing. Experienced sales professionals

    Cons

Rapid growth by acquisition makes day to day somewhat bumpy. Company began in 1998 with a Father and Son in the basement - through organic growth and acquisitions company is now 5000 employees and +$500M in revenues.

    Advice to Management

Slow down and access your impressive growth

I have been working at DTI as a contractor

    Pros

    Nice people, great flexibility.

    Cons

No guarantee that you will be working tomorrow. Projects can begin and end unexpectantly. Depending on the law firm, there is a strong possibility you will not get any paid breaks.

I have been working at DTI full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Disclaimer: My opinions reflect that of a full time employee at DTI. Seems like some positions that are of a different sort may not be eligible for benefits or PTO at this time. FT employment is much different and you are eligible for PTO and Benefits. I have read through some of the other DTI reviews and it seems to me that everyone has a very different experience! This is so true. Within the same team, you can have both workaholics and slackers coexisting and co-working together. I think I am more of the balanced type as I try to get along with everyone and focus on the positive vs. all the negative. The DTI experience is basically the entire spectrum and it is what you make it out to be.

    Cons

A lot of negative Nancy's. Those people need to be coached by management as it hinders the work environment.

    Advice to Management

Share what's going on at DTI -- I see things posted on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, would be good to hear it from my managers too!!

I worked at DTI full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Strong, growing company with solid management. It runs relatively autonomously. DTI has recently been a conglomeration of acquisitions. For the most part, they have been successful at integrating the companies.

    Cons

Changing compensation plans were the main reason for my departure. Not really cutting edge in the areas that they compete.

    Advice to Management

Pay more to get better talent across the board, but especially in management
