    Pros

    Nice people, great flexibility.

    Cons

No guarantee that you will be working tomorrow. Projects can begin and end unexpectantly. Depending on the law firm, there is a strong possibility you will not get any paid breaks.

    Cons

Work life balance, client expectations sometimes unreasonable

    Advice to Management

Show more interest in your staff. This will help with turnover. Benefits are terrible.

    Pros

Disclaimer: My opinions reflect that of a full time employee at DTI. Seems like some positions that are of a different sort may not be eligible for benefits or PTO at this time. FT employment is much different and you are eligible for PTO and Benefits.

I have read through some of the other DTI reviews and it seems to me that everyone has a very different experience! This is so true. Within the same team, you can have both workaholics and slackers coexisting and co-working together. I think I am more of the balanced type as I try to get along with everyone and focus on the positive vs. all the negative.

The DTI experience is basically the entire spectrum and it is what you make it out to be.

    Cons

A lot of negative Nancy's. Those people need to be coached by management as it hinders the work environment.

    Advice to Management

Share what's going on at DTI -- I see things posted on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, would be good to hear it from my managers too!!

    Pros

Strong, growing company with solid management. It runs relatively autonomously. DTI has recently been a conglomeration of acquisitions. For the most part, they have been successful at integrating the companies.

    Cons

Changing compensation plans were the main reason for my departure. Not really cutting edge in the areas that they compete.

    Advice to Management

Pay more to get better talent across the board, but especially in management

    Pros

DTI (Document Technologies) is a company for individuals who are hard-working, dedicated and positive. If you are someone who is not a self-starter, motivated or customer-service oriented you probably won't be happy here.

There are A LOT of opportunities in this organization but you have to go after them and work hard to get there. I have been with the company almost 5 years and in that time, I have been promoted two times. The opportunities presented to me were fair. They allowed me to work hard towards my career goals with the proper training and guidance that I needed. After several years in my most recent role, I am hoping to continue upward growth at DTI. I'm motivated so I'm not going to be happy to sit idly...

In almost 5 years, I have worked with managers in all of our three lines of business (KS, LS & FM). Not every manager is perfect, that would be an obvious fact. But overall, I have found that the DTI management team is very good. My most recent manager is flexible with time off and encourages a work/life balance.

    Cons

    - No 401k match at this time
    - Benefits are consistent with industry, but why not be better than industry standards? .
    - Inconsistent Technology Resources (computers, operating system and email are not consistent across the organization
    - Office Perks - Would be nice to have some additional office perks such as snacks, sodas, work events, etc.

Overall my opinion is that these "cons" are valuable feedback and can easily be improved and/or changed over the next year.

    Advice to Management

As an employer, DTI needs to consider improving it's life, health, and work benefits for its internal customers -- the people who work day-to-day in all of our offices. By this I don't just mean health benefits but outside the box office benefits/perks and fundraising like our recent Breast Cancer Walk in Atlanta. I think considering all the different type of perks and benefits for 2015, would only set DTI apart from our competitors even more. .

I would also like to continue to see upper management and corporate officers visit the field to communicate their message and what's going on in the company across our lines of business. So often we are all focusing on our daily tasks that we forget we are part of a much larger organization with a lot of great things happening.

    Pros

In just 16 years, DTI has become the industry leader in the eDiscovery space. Saying you work for a strong, successful, progressive industry-leader has immeasurable value for any employee in any profession.

    Cons

Not really a con ... but as a rapidly growing company, change is constant. So the ability to be nimble, flexible and welcoming of continuous change is an essential attribute at DTI.

    Pros

Great company to obtain skills and build your resume. Excellent training opportunities via LitWorks University. I would not only recommend DTI as a stepping stone to add knowledge to your personal skill base, but I would also recommend this company as a long term employment solution if you have desire and motivation.

The KS & LS divisions really appear to be growing and adding a lot of value to the FM business. It's impressive.

    Cons

401K? Everything else is satisfactory in my opinion.

    Advice to Management

I think DTI is on the right track and moving towards a lot of change. Continue to communicate vision/mission clearly and share that with all managers.
