    I have been working at Daegis full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    If you want to move to Texas, this place is for you. Otherwise, if you can get into the Gupta division, you might have some hope.

    Cons

    Flawed strategic vision, minimal knowledge of software industry, unable to execute business plans, lack of sales, lack of senior leadership, poor middle management. Morale is non-existent outside of Texas, toxic culture. Hiring is based on a good-old-boy network that consistently hires poor performers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Abdicate. Let someone with a clue start over fresh.

    Pros

    The people that actually execute on behalf of the clients are great. Talented folks that work long hours, often time with minimal upside.

    Cons

    Sales staff would do better selling used cars.

    Hold sales accountable, why are people who constantly miss quotas not only kept on staff, but promoted?
