good life work balance, they give you freedom to develop your own way and they have a lot of development opportunities.

    Cons

sometimes you need to search for technical information alone by your self and sometimes you will not find a prepared standard, all what you need to do is to network alone.

    Pros

Very open company. You can learn by doing and you can experiment.

    Cons

Career Plans never go through and rotation in the area makes it hard to implement long term strategies.

    Pros

Good company to grow in. Successful individuals with supportive bosses have great career opportunities here. Internal promotions are valued & sought. Culture fosters creativity & new ideas - how easy/quick/possible it is to make things happen depends largely on where exactly one sits (geographically & in the food chain).

    Cons

Whereas there's a lack of structure & processes in some areas, there is an overabundance of sometimes unnecessary/burdensome processes in others. Promotions & access to training/development depends largely on the support/activity of one's manager. There are no stringent processes and policies in place that would ensure equality.

    Pros

Values initiative and achievements at a personal level, good recognition via bonus and senior management respect, politics relatively easy to navigate, general good organizational culture

    Cons

Promotions are slow, HR behaviour appalling. Barcelona office is largely a team of old school catalan dinossaurs (hardly anyone speaks english well, apart from new people, mostly ex-pats). once these dinos retire the company might have a chance to be more competitive, open, innovative.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the jurassic team in Spain (specially HR) and value new talent, promote quick.
