I worked at Deutsche Bank full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Collegiate, responsive to employee issues, respectful and professional environment, beautiful offices in Century City area, great health benefit plan, good technology support

    Cons

often short staffed in back offices which made processing slower, payment of sales commission was not a smooth process, summary reports needed manual adjustment

    Advice to Management

Add controls to avoid behavior that resulted in massive fines. Excellent on-site technology assistance was helpful and necessary. It should be maintained. Base salary for assistants should be higher and in-line with those of other bulge bracket firms.

I worked at Deutsche Bank full-time

    Pros

Great benefits and challenging work. International company with opportunities for advancement and development.

    Cons

Work location in Jacksonville has grown over time, but the culture was changing for the negative. Now that the site is running, there is an influx of internal employees from other locations globally (at a trememdous cost for relocation). Those employees are tied to the old ways of doing things and less open to the familial atmosphere already created.

    Advice to Management

Don't stop caring about the people. We are commited to hard work and just because we are from a city outside of New York, London, or Germany does not mean we are stupid of incapable of great work.

I have been working at Deutsche Bank full-time

    Pros

    Salary in comparison to competitor.

    Cons

Penny wise but pound foolish; senior management is watching every nickel on discretionary expenses. They are not spending any money on needed infrastructure improvements. And they have cut the budget on education sponsorship for employees.
