    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThe benefits are great and it's a fun environment to work in.

ConsConstant re-orgs which result in lay offs. Only those who fit the "culture" remain for the long-term haul.

Dedicated marketing organization where you learn how to build strong business cases for your ideas.

    Marketing Director (Former Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsYou learn how to navigate a complex organization and sell/win over key stakeholders through numerous meetings and presentations. Great consumer understanding.

ConsVery politically driven organization, which can mean a lot of opinion offsetting facts.

Advice to Senior ManagementThere is an opportunity to better understand what truly motivates people in their careers, and drive engagement and loyalty through that.

Constantly changing and moving atmosphere where 'stretching' goals take a strong precedence.

    Supplier Performance Manager (Current Employee)
    Norwalk, CT

ProsGreat benefits & perks come with the job.

ConsConsistent annual restructuring of the company's supply functions have left those remaining holding the bag with consolidated positions and heavier workloads. There have been 3 restructuring efforts in Diageo North America within the last 3 years.

Advice to Senior ManagementProcess improvement might be a strong consideration in terms of cutting costs as opposed to reducing headcount.

    HR team needs to change

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    Norwalk, CT

ProsGreat Company benefits, great company culture and if you are in a different department than HR you will have work life balance.

ConsThere are organizational redesign every year, that is too much, you don't even have time to see if what you just implemented may work. The favoritism is amazing, if you belong to the people they love you will have a brilliant career, if the HR Leaedership team or your LM doesn't like you, forget it! start looking. The HR Management team is very unpolished, they even have people working in HR without related degrees or experience..

Advice to Senior ManagementLIsten to all levels of the organization, look beyond the "inner Circle" there are more people than the "golden" or untouchable people...

    great place

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

Prosit is a great place to work

ConsThe environment is competitive among employees. Sometimes the vision of working as a team towards the same goal is left behind and it turns into a more individualistic vision.

    Nice place to work

    Demand Planning Analyst (Current Employee)
    Miami, FL

ProsNice offices, good perks such as free happy hour every Thursday.

ConsReorganizations every 6 months that don't give a sense of job security at all.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet a business plan to at least two years instead a one every 6 months. Otherwise management looks like don't know what they are doing.

A powerful industry monster with lots of process

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsMany industry perks, great co benefits. Having DIAGEO on your résumé opens many other doors within the industry

ConsDecision making is long and tedious, career advance could be challenging due to process, but you are "good" if you know someone.
Yearly company re-organization, has people wondering for their future constantly

Advice to Senior ManagementImprove HR, make it more limber and accessible
    Recognize people as individuals
Be flexible, loose the ends and make more decisions based on circumstances not always process

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Fun products but disorganized management and silo'd

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    New York, NY

    Prosfun products
    great brands
flexibile work arrangements, abbreviated fridays; work from home when appropriate
entreprenuerial enviroment for those that don't need much training or direction
    bright and energetic employees

Consroutine and excessive re-orgs and layoffs
consultants are embedded in the leadership
priorities are unclear and change often
values are written down but not practised

Advice to Senior ManagementLive and enforce the values. Stick to a strategy and see it through. Offer more training for this very young organisation.
