Great Place to grow but not a stable company

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) American Fork, UT

ProsThe people are great and the building environment is fantastic. It pays better than most call centers.

ConsThey are constantly changing your schedule, demoting middle management for "business needs" and it's impossible to keep up with the ever-changing requirements for your scorecards. The manager was basically non-existent, he just hung out with his buddy a lot, so you have to depend solely on the support of the middle management supervisors who are all amazing at their jobs.

Advice to Senior ManagementJob stability is important to employees. My entire employment I was unsure if I would be able to keep my pay rate, my position, my schedule and sometimes even my job. The constant changes made working here unbearable.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Gained a lot of experience, but was payed $15,000 less then the states average

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsGreat place to gain experience in the field of call center and outsourcing

ConsThe pay is not that great. Some of the senior management have questionable intellect.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't overwork and undervalue employees who are willing and able to perform. If someone shows promise you pile such an erroneous amount of work on them that they are unable to have a life outside of work. the demands most definitly out weigh the compensation.

    Typical small yet growing company

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsYour day is never boring, there's always a new challenge.

ConsThere usually aren't enough bodies to tackle all of the challenges so you'll need to learn how to do a lot of different things.

Advice to Senior ManagementContinuing to rely on employees' flexibility will eventually break their backs and land DMI without anyone to bend.

    Good People

Customer Service (Current Employee) Troy, MI

ProsOverall, I find the workforce to be a good mix of youth & experienced people. They are generally upbeat and friendly.

ConsThe aspects of the company I have thus far observed give the impression of being reactive as opposed to well considered. I am working with a small personal sample in combination with observations and opinions provided by those with far greater tenure so I am willing to consider that many of the faults heretofore observed can be attributed to a lack of foresight by the client paying DMI for my services. As such, it is quite possible that this review will be amended at some future date.

Advice to Senior ManagementNothing I'd share in the public domain.

    Business to business

Appointment Setter (Current Employee) Provo, UT

ProsThe people that work there, Dental insurance.

ConsThey do not update changes with client agreements so commissions may be missed because that is not the terms that you agreed to. No health befits (only dental and vision).

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep updates on any changes that may occur to keep contracts true with circumstances. If a company has not paid out bonus, dialogue should foot the bill (it is not the agents fault). Annual evaluations should be mandatory.
