    Pros

Descent discount, personal relationships built with employees and customers is always a good thing

No investment on most hourly employees, no trail period on product...a lot of other companies do.

    Advice to Management

Investing in your part timers can be as useful as your full timers.

    Pros

Fun company to work for. Co workers seem to get along with each other. Employee discount is a good perk.

    Cons

Management seems to be very frantic, trying to meet multiple requirements and making certain deadlines, often times creating a hostile manager to associate relationship.

    Advice to Management

Provide more training to associates and room for growth.

Job Duties are fairly easy to learn
Communication is very easy with co-workers( assisting one another through out the store)

    Cons

ALOT of work for the amount of pay you receive
    Dealing with rude customers
Not enough associates working on the floor(more work for you)
Employee discount is limited( Can only use it on regular priced items)

    Advice to Management

    Pros

    Flexible hours
    Good co-workers
    Discounts on the products
    Working for a sports store
    Extra shifts if wanted

    Cons

Upper management didn't seem to really care
When I put in my 2 weeks notice, I got taken off the work schedule, so no hours for 2 weeks.
Long hours during the holiday season.
    Understaffed during certain seasons.

    Advice to Management

Hire more qualified people. Figure out the staffing. Some days we were completely overstaffed and other days we didn't have enough. Not much advancement potential for the part-timers.
