    Pros

It is a very fun environment to work in considering everything we sale has to do with fun and enjoying pastimes.

    Cons

The company sometimes gets the work load to heavy and does not provide the stores with enough payroll to get all the task done.

    Advice to Management

Do even more promoting within the company we have a lot of good talent out with in the stores and yet we still bring people from the outside and pay the people what they deserve nothing more upsets a person to find out you hired some one off the street and pay them way more money.

I have been working at Dick's Sporting Goods part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Truly love working for this company. It's fun and fast paced. Rarely get an upset customer and management treats employees fairly.

    Cons

Unpredictable work schedules. Hourly fluctuate without notice. If other departments go over in hours, everyone else's hours gets cut across the board. Pay is sometimes equal even when one employee performs or promotes faster.

    Advice to Management

Agreement. There is often confusion or frustration of employees and customers a like when each manager has their own policies they go by and push on employees when working. Then it changes at the next shift. United Front needed.
