    Pros

People that have been with the company for a long time are solid employees.

    Cons

Pay cut of 20% after Intuit. One-year no-hire agreement between DI and Intuit. No more employee recognition program. Private equity company axed all the good talent and those who remain (who are worth their salt) are leaving in droves. Then NCR paid a $600m premium for a hacked up company (LOL!). Benefits are changing to "employee driven" healthcare plans. Redwood City gets a new multi-million dollar facility fit for the Sultan of Brunei. Georgia and Westlake offices are slums in comparison. Employees are treated differently from one location to the next. We are grasping at straws for the next big innovation (location-based auto loan spam that we demoed at FinTech isn't exactly cutting edge stuff). Bonus structure changed several times and have metrics to meet that do not have anything to do with my job function.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better act fast before the August exodus to Intuit. Show us the money!

    Pros

It's acquisition by Intuit allows opportunities to change where you work without changing your employer. Intuit has places around the country so you can move geography without having to change health plans.
The health plans, and health savings accounts are a nice touch.

    Cons

Management could not find their way out of a wet paper bag. The chronic incompetence of the VP's should be legendary.
The infighting in the company is staggering, as is the lack of ability to plan for the future.
One VP came in and then left in about 90 days to return to his old position. I suspect he had meant to stay because he sold his house before he moved to California, but left DI as fast as possible anyway.
Some VP's had one report, and only reported to our President. How can you need a VP if they only have one report?!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get a plan, and start promoting competence NOW. Fire the idiots, not just the people who are expensive on the payroll. Two fools don't cost the same as one wise man, the fools cost you more every time you listen to them.

    Pros

Great benefits since we are now part of Intuit. Being a part of Intuit and having their philosophy start to trickle into our business is a step in the right direction. Intuit doesn't like to have things just lie around implementing the status quo. They are very focused on innovation and set a direction after thorough analysis and then its all-hand on deck to make it happen. We are hopeful that this type of process template will have great benefits for DI and raising the moral & motivation of the employees.

    Cons

Lack of direction from our segment leadership. They have no concept of boundaries with the client and thus lack total discipline.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have a discipline to set and keep priorities.

    Pros

Good work life balance if you can made things done by talking and compensation little more than market standards

    Cons

You wont be able to survive here at all if you really work for the company here. You need to be a great crony and an expert politician to survive here . The India DEV center is led by some inefficient directors/managers who have screwed the entire good parent Intuit culture and turned it into a nasty organization.
If you don't do chamchagiri of these managers you will bullied out of the organization. Even you need to keep the good books of the assistant of the MD here to survive. Most of the good intuit employees and managers have left and the once left don't have place to go are also doing full politics and bullying to hold into their positions. All the innovations and all are all time pass happenings and wastage of time and money.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
