I have been working at Document Technologies full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

DTI treats employees as the adults we are supposed to be. If you take the bull by the horns and work hard, they leave you alone to do your job without a hassle. This is truly the best place I have ever worked! Ideas are valued and input is considered. Nothing is perfect but this is close.

    Cons

Some challenges would be work life balance in an always connected environment. But let's face it, who isn't always connected to tech in one form or another? The nature of eDiscovery is the same in every company. If your client needs you, you have to be there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Compensation is compressing in this industry due to the constant stealing of talent. Thanks for not doing that.

I worked at Document Technologies as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

They really cared about me as an employee. When I was turned down for an assignment, they later hired me again when they wanted more people. When I was let go, they even returned my phone calls to explain why.

    Cons

I don't have many complaints about DTI other than that I felt like I did not always know what was going on. I felt like I was being kept in the dark about things.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please keep your employees a little more informed and involved in the decision-making process. I felt like I was being kept in the dark about things.

    Pros

DTI is a solid company with a vision, that is growing and hiring in this difficult economy. They seem to genuinely care about the employees and offer a very friendly work environment. The HR/Recruiting team did a great job of on-boarding me when I joined the company. My management team made sure that I had all of the tools needed to do my job from the start. Communication from all levels is excellent. I see a long term future with this company and look forward to continuing to contribute to the success of DTI.

    Cons

Not much bad to say here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep growing the company and look to Europe and the Pacific Rim.
