    Pros

Great co-workers for the most part at the location.

    Cons

Hertz ruined a great company. Really sad to see many of the best employees now leaving...Can't blame them as the culture has changed. DTG used to care about their front line employees and their customers....Customer service is now a joke.

    Advice to Management

Senior Management needs to dig in and spend time in the field...The customer issues and employee issues are then very obvious.

    Pros

My co workers made the job easy to go to. Worked as a team and family that cared for each other.

    Cons

Management is horrible after Hertz taking over. Short staffed at all times and bonuses are horrible now and no one appreciates your hard work.

    Advice to Management

Hire more agents and stop treating employees like animals.

Awesome job until Hertz took over and now cutting commission to the bottom people.

    Pros

Vacation and sick days are easy to take Customers that are frequent renters are pretty cool. 401k is good. The $1.50 per rental commission was awesome until they took that away.

    Cons

Cut commission Pushing sales to frequent renters Hertz Hard to get breaks Very low pay No raises To much to add. More cons than pros for sure.

    Advice to Management

Help out in all areas not just the office.

    Pros

It was great company back in days.

    Cons

After 2011 Dollar Thrifty became worst company to work. I was working over 7 years. And I quit this month because of low salary no more commission. More work to do with one manager in two locations. More work less money is not worth of my time. We run out cars all the time and you feel bad when you have no car with someone who wasted his/her time and you tell them I don't have a car for you. Customers calling you all kinds of names because of that...

    Advice to Management

Get involve. Do more work instead of letting your ops MGR do everything. Make sure you care your employees and motivate them. Treat everyone same and don't play race card.

Favoritism and discrimination with employees from other countries.

    Advice to Management

You should have NEVER let the Dollar-Thrifty Management go. You have ruined what was an EXCELLENT company to work for.

    Pros

    The people are alright,

    Cons

Abuse from Hertz, Overworked & WAY Underpaid, Time off is in 2 buckets, no significant perks, Frequent Turnover

    Advice to Management

Everyone should be making about $2 - $3 more, there is way too much turnover & something needs to be done about that, We should have the option to move 40 vacation hours to the next year like before. I really hope that John Tague (Current CEO Hertz-Dollar/Thrifty) can turn this company around.

    Pros

Easy job, you don't really do anything at all.

    Cons

They have two employees working a 6 am to midnight counter, never have any cars, and on top of that they started paying me a dollar less that the original pay I signed my contract for, (took me 2 months to fix), and after giving me my dollar back, said they made a mistake and I should've been making less so I cannot get a annual raise as promised for two years..... horrible employee treatment

    Advice to Management

Actually care about your employees and maybe the turnover rate wouldn't be through the roof. Don't only make one employee work 6 nights a week until midnight. No work life balance.
