I have been working at Domino's full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Decent job security. Pizza places normally have a relaxed environment, so you practically have to work at getting fired. Some coworkers are interesting. Many opportunities to move up in the company. Scheduling is relatively flexible, especially if you're a driver or an inside worker.

    Cons

No benefits whatsoever. Pay is not very good. I was lucky enough to start at a higher pay, but recently they cut new-hire wages by a dollar. A decent portion of the employees aren't very bright, but that's to be expected in this line of work. My main issue with Domino's, is that they seem to have a problem hiring people. We are constantly understaffed and if it gets any bit busy, we end up with many late deliveries and (rightfully) angry customers. I have only worked in 2 different Domino's, so maybe this is different elsewhere. No benefits whatsoever.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make the hiring process easier. Do you really need a background check for a minimum wage position? More lenient labor cost expectations. Also, allow more employees to be scheduled so stores can be prepared if it gets busy.

I worked at Domino's full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Job Security - you'd have to try pretty hard to get fired. At Domino's' owned by Posso, anyway

    Cons

Benefits, raises, (non-lateral) promotions, are non-existent within this company. I found myself doing managerial work on a day-to-day basis while still making my base pay as a CSR/crew member. Awful people to work with, talk to, and, worst of all, answer to.

I worked at Domino's part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

For the most part as a delivery driver it was an easy job. Ok pay when you consider tips

    Cons

Management was irresponsible in that they took frequent breaks. Also got berated for apparently putting cinnamon on the desserts wrong. Also sometimes long 10-12 hour shifts. As a driver I wanted to just deliver pizzas, not wash dishes and cook and prepare foods. I thought that was strange.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would cut the hours down to 8 hour max shifts. Also would separate duties of drivers, cooks, janitors, etc.

I have been working at Domino's part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    1. Very Flexible work schedule
    2. Taught me how to handle stress very well
    3. Always something to do
    4. Can be a very fun work environment at times

    Cons

    1. Very little job security
    2. Some can't handle the stressful nature of the job
    3. Management often take advantage of their employees (sitting in their offices doing pretty much nothing for hours at a time)
    4. Driver staff will often forgo all their duties and just wait for their deliveries to be ready to be driven to the customer
    5. Rarely recognized for hard work.

I have been working at Domino's part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

great people, great environment and many opportunities to go up the latter.

    Cons

Exploitation and mediocre management system. Many people are hired through connections.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please have sympathy for workers and don't take advantage of their illiteracy. Many of us are students and are very open to diversity in a working environment, however I am disappointed that I had a manager that was unfair and constantly scolded you.
