    Pros

The pay is decent and it has a fairly laid back atmosphere. The buildings are very well maintained and coworkers were always great to be around.

    Cons

Dupont being involved with Pioneer has seen the company take a downturn. The stock price has risen but company moral has dropped. They have also made it more difficult to move up the food chain. I think they also did not plan very well for the drop in commodity prices.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to realize that making it impossible to move up in the work place kills employees motivation. There is an unusually high number of people that do not think it is possible to get a promotion.

    Pros

Lots of different groups with different specialties. Low layoff rate for the business. Stable environment.

    Cons

Can be difficult to advance in research without advanced degrees. Reduced tuition reimbursement for degree programs/ further education. Promotions/ raises often are not comparable to level of work required for the position.

    Pros

Great environment, and coworkers. High value for safety. Easy work. Rotating jobs.

    Cons

As a temp, they are seem to use you, then are done with you when no longer needed. you could be called on your way home and they will tell you that you no longer have a job.

    Advice to Management

    Value your workers more.

    Pros

This company has an excellent talent development program which is tailored to whatever you want it to be.

    Cons

The job outlook in the Ag economy in general is not very good in the next few years so that is a downside.

    Advice to Management

Plan better for the future and stop starting projects that never get finished before the next new thing is here.

I worked at DuPont Pioneer full-time

    Pros

Good hours, good people to work with at Elizabethtown. It gets busy periodically, but the people there will easily help to get the job done.

    Cons

Pioneer is owned by DuPont. In the past, Pioneer was a wonderful company to work for, but the corporation of DuPont changed that. They care about the shareholder, nit the employee. It makes for a stressful atmosphere.

    Pros

When started very good to work for, lots of support and encouragement. Service was a great part to and pay is some of the top in the industry

    Cons

Poor Product performance and Poor management as the years have gone on. lots of turn over on the company side and hard to maintain relationships with management

    Advice to Management

Start getting Products that are helping every year instead of hurting. It is hard to grow on a customer when you are having a product that is not working in a big way on his operation
