At critical times, workload still in the shoulders of a few, who deliver. Raising the bar needs to continue to get rid of below required performers.

I have been working at DuPont full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Stable company, Range of specialties and businesses, science focused. Benefits are decent but better in past years. Wealth of knowledge. The company as a whole is decent.

    Cons

Local site management has completed destroyed employee morale. Reality has been replaced with perception. No room for advancement for non-exempt employees unless you are deemed a "special one" or know someone in upper management. Non-exempt employees are not appreciated for the importance of their contribution. Us vs. them mentality has been created. They often contradict themselves. Performance evaluation process is based more on who you work for and who likes you opposed to your actual work. Incompetent management still in position after countless complaints with no significant consequences. Low or non-existent raises. Little to no trustworthiness in management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

At local site, clean-up management. Appreciate non-exempts and contributions with raises or bonuses. Review actual site performance rating process and make it fair and relevant to acutal work performance. Be genuine in desire or attempt to fix problems with employee morale or just leave it alone.
