    Pros

Some of the specific projects I worked on were interesting; half day Friday's year round

    Cons

The culture and work environment here is very corporate Horrible internal communication within groups and among different groups Sweat shop Low pay and long hours High pressure and high stress culture Employees are like robots - no employee engagement - employees are not valued You'll get promoted if you work 60 hours per week Colleagues will throw you under the bus to save themselves You have to conform to the "Dunkin' way" and how they do things or they'll force you out No Collaboration - everyone is in it for themselves

    Advice to Management

Hire leaders that enforce open communication and that care about their employees as people, not robots who crank out work.

    Pros

Industry best analytics and predictive capabilities. Iconic Brand name. Dedicated, smart and focused field force.

    Cons

Lip service to "life/work" balance. Way too focused (as a public company) on predicting financial numbers to the point of over-pressuring field staff and over-burdening them with forecasting. Hard to acheive resuts when you spend so much time on "corporate forecasting needs and reports" vs actually focusing on the job at hand! Lip service also to "field support" from the corporate office. No loyalty to their people or their committment to help grow their people.

    Pros

I worked at Dunkin' Donuts for a year and a half. The tasks required of you are simple and easy to get into the "swing" of. Atmosphere is usually casual or swift if you are working during peak team or in the drive thru. Some customers are funny. There is usually one or two people working there that call out all of the time (kind of a con?), so extra hours are sometimes available. Some locations allow tips, free coffee, and donuts. Some shift leaders are great to work with, others not. The expectations are that you are accurate, quick, and friendly. It's also required that your "work station" is cleaned and stocked before your shift ends.

    Cons

Personal growth is mostly limited and depending on how well you acclimate, lead, and get a long with management. Raises are very small from a promotion to shift leader. Don't expect a raise at Dunkin' Donuts.

    Advice to Management

Upper management should do a better job at making sure lower management is treating employees fairly. Employees should be given raises, especially ones that have worked there a very long time.

    Pros

The freedom to run your store as if it were yours. Great benefits

    Cons

Work EVERY Sat and Mon No relationship with upper management Constant email communication Harassment from upper management

    Advice to Management

Get younger more vibrant multi unit managers. People that aren't afraid to try new 2014 techniques not people that are sticking to the same strategies from when they graduated college in the 60's. Also make new employees aware that management with your company is merely temporary. In due time once sales are UNBELIEVEABLE we will sale the store to a franchise and not care about anything you have done for the company

    Pros

Great working environment for those who excel at form over substance. If you "do" instead of "think and embrace the "hurd" mentality your career will be long and fulfilling.

    Cons

Out of the box thinking and leadership that challenges the status quo are frowned upon.

    Advice to Management

Wake up, read your annual employee surveys and impliment the recommendatins instead of ignoring them when they don't fit your narrative.
