I worked at Dunkin part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Easy to obtain job, flexible schedule

    Cons

Management has very poor training and are mostly incompetent young adults with no or little education, poor communication skills amongst employees, little accountability to management, low wages, employees are not valued and treat employees as dispensable

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

start hiring better educated managers and provide further educational training outside of the Dunkin' University, pay employees better in order to afford more professional management styles

    I worked at Dunkin

    Pros

    Close to home and no training needed; flexible hours if you can get a replacement;

    Cons

Toxic culture and numbingly boring work; management would waste hours gossiping and making demands.

I worked at Dunkin part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The first boss that I had there was awesome. He had been my boss in high school and gave me a job when I needed it years later. He was awesome.

    Cons

If you have to work mornings, you will spend your mornings serving stupid people who will talk about what an idiot you are when they turn around. You will never get a raise, but they will make you a manager so that they can call you in whenever they want and you have to clean the bathroom when someone destroys it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

get to meet new people everyday. love the fact that our regulars like me better than anyone else that works that

    Cons

if your not drinking buddies with the manager she cuts your hours, and

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

grow up, stop treating people with disrespect, who never call out never late, and do a great job,and customers love me, and fire the people who leave early are late all the time call out and cant make a cup of coffee to save their life, stop taking away all the good workers hours and giving them to teenagers who dont do anything but talk, just like yourself talk talk talk. be quiet it shouldnt be how fast you get a customer out of the establishment it should be how well you do it, and make the customer happy and not feel rushed

I worked at Dunkin part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

You are given free food and drinks as long as your make them and you do not partake while the store is busy

    Cons

Managers tend to be high-strung close minded people who very rarely respect anyone other than themselves.
The store is always busy and the closest thing you can do to hope for a break is to go to the bathroom.

I worked at Dunkin full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

1st 6 months with the company is great

    Cons

after 6 months you are expected and more/less required to work 60 hours, however, you are only paid for 37 hours each week.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management does not answer their phones nor do they return calls to their employees. They more/less hide from everyone. Upper management needs to learn the right way to treat and respect employees.
