“Good, stable, small music manufacturing company”
I have been working at Dunlop Manufacturing, Inc.
Pros – Small company, easy to talk to management about ideas and have your voice heard. You'll get feedback instantly. Some people have the impression that Dunlop is a large corporation, but its really a handful of people. Everyone is accessible from marketing to sales to engineering. The people are genuinely nice. Very informal culture... no suits and ties to be found anywhere.
Business is consistent even during rough years.
A good place to work if you're motivated and are familiar with the rock music scene.
Cons – Bad network infrastructure, projects are slow to get moving, due to the small size resources can be somewhat limited.
Advice to Senior Management – A knowledge management system would be beneficial - all of the company's knowledge is contained in a few documents and mostly in the minds of the employees.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
