ProsGreat staff, friendly, family like which is rare for a mid-size company. Amazing benefits especially the 401K retirement. EXCO doesn't like to fire anyone but instead moves less than effective employees around to try and find a place for them.

ConsPart of the Pro - some less than effective employees sometimes need to be let go.

Advice to Senior ManagementTalk to your people a little more. We're in this with you, good and bad times.

I have really enjoyed most of the people and job requirements

    Landman (Current Employee) Dallas, TX

ProsThey really care about employees. Good benefits and perks like tickets to sporting events. They are not stingy with training and will support you keeping your knowledge level current.

ConsSometimes disorganized. There are pockets of people with bad attitudes. Oil and Gas can be turbulent - so job security may be an issue.

Advice to Senior ManagementPay attention to negative feedback for some managers/directors. Many of the employees have great attitudes and skills, but are over or under managed. Policies and Procedures may help - but management doesn't have the time to pay attention to these global issues.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
