I have been working at EY full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Decent market rep, good exit opportunities
Good culture, which stems from how their sales-force (partners) is (are) incentivized
From the Parthenon acquisition, there are some opportunities to work at McKinsey/BCG/Bain level

    Cons

Advisory is not mature yet (inefficient knowledge management, inefficient training, inefficient onboarding, inefficient best practice sharing) and is a junk drawer of ex-IBM, ex-Accenture, and ex-Capgemini resources trying to carve their territory

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook

I have been working at EY

    Pros

EY is a wonderful organization, offering enormous growth potential and ability to move across practices or geographies. I have worked with teams both US based and international, and I have found here some of the smartest and brightest people I've ever known. Compensation at the higher-levels (senior manager and above) is at par with market and very competitive. Great exposure to top companies/clients in New York. Great culture and lots of internal organizations to join. Good vacation/ time off policy.

    Cons

Not much work-life balance as you move up the ladder. Little predictability in terms of own schedule: it is a client-driven business, so you work on the client's schedule.
