I have been working at Earth Fare part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Being part of a health revolution and offering food that in my opinion is the closest to the way God made it that is available in our area. Pay is average but better then competitors because they do take experience into consideration.

    Cons

I just started so I don't have any yet.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I guess continue to focus on how important your employees are. If they we are happy then we will transfer that onto the customers. Keep being positive and focus on the big picture.

I worked at Earth Fare full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Bakery is easy to work in, store discounts, nice employees, management friendly and fun to work with. Loved working there!! Hamburger and prime rib night always a success!

    Cons

Forgot that they need to sell more food. Keep taking food away, customers going elsewhere. Bakery went from scratch made products to baking a few items now . All seems lost. Hope not.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn what employees do, get involved more. Fix the deli and bakeries. Not retaining employees. Corporate is not really aware of other great products out there to sell in departments. Go to food shows. Take some advice if seasoned employees who have worked elsewhere. Learn something new.

I worked at Earth Fare full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent pay, great company, great philosophy, takes care of their employees, good benefits, great management staff, they support the community, they support healthy living.

    Cons

Nothing bad to say. I can only recall good things. If was pushed I might say that staff below management co u of be paid more and that you get a 3 percent raise annually not including promotions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep on the good work.

I have been working at Earth Fare full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The people here are fantastic! I've worked a lot of places in my life, but never encountered the quality of individuals that I have here at Earth Fare. My managers, peers, and co-workers are a great bunch of people who truly care about others and what they do.

The discounts and savings in the store aren't bad either. I don't know of another grocer who offers 20% off to its employees.

    Cons

The biggest challenge is figuring out where, or what exactly the goals are for the company. We constantly shift priority from project to project and this is a bit confusing, but to be expected with a company growing this fast.
