Joe Eazor has made it worse

    Inside Sales (Current Employee)
    Pittsford, NY

ProsThe people, some of the best co-workers and office culture I ever experienced.

ConsThe company has no direction, way too many systems to get an installation done in a reasonable amount of time. You can be the best salesperson in the world it won't matter because their is a ton of bureaucracy and finger pointing along with "not my job 15 years ago and not my job now". Customers are put last instead of first.

Advice to Senior ManagementWake up! You cannot build a sucessful business when 70% of the company doesn't give a crap. Hold all departments accountable not just sales.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Not the place to be.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

    Pros1. Nice break room.
    2. Great staff (non-management)

    Cons1. Behind the times technology
    2. Mediocre tools
    3. Numbers driven not customer driven helpdesk.
    4. Outsource center for hundreds of companies, constantly switching hats.
    5. Instead of improving tools and necessities, they built a break room.
    6. Terrible management.

Advice to Senior ManagementCare for your employees and back them up when you know a client is abusing the technicians.

    This place is stereotypically terrible.

    Anonymous (Current Employee)
    Vancouver, WA

ProsSometimes they'll tell you in person when you get laid off. Most of the time, though , it's by phone.

ConsIt's so bad, HR reps have a hard time keeping up with ethical complaints. Our previous CEO drive the company into the ground, paving the way for quarterly mass layoffs so we could give him a 3.5 million dollar retirement. The head count slashing continues while emails are sent out detailing a posh new headquarters. There is zero communication within the company between the tiers. Departments flat out lie to each other. It is CYA based, not customer focused. And the culture is one of fear, not team work. Horrible experience.

Advice to Senior ManagementCOMMUNICATE OPENLY. Let your employees know they are valued. You'd be shocked at how far a small attaboy goes.

    Great coworkers, company outsourced everything

    Customer Service Supervisor (Former Employee)
    Atlanta, GA

ProsThe working environment was very relaxed and accepting. There was no discrimination of any kind in hiring.

ConsEverything ended up getting outsourced and salaries were below industry average. Also, some of the systems for managing customers/payment were antiquated.

    Fast pace and unstructured

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsYou will be exposed to vast technologies and products

ConsCompensation is minimum. There is no real structure throughout the business. Processes seem to change on whelm

Advice to Senior ManagementSupport and reward all your employees. Create a detailed process that actually works for the company and ensure that all internal organization agree to this process

    Decent pay but limited opportunities

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    Rochester, NY

ProsThe compensation is good and the benefits are decent.

ConsThey are constantly reorganizing and this does is not conducive for consistency. When the reorganizations happen the new leadership only promote the people from outside the company and disregard the people who have worked hard internally for years. I was very disappointed in the regard and compassion they have for their employees.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe leadership has no regard or clue on how to treat their employees. The leadership better get a grip or this company will not be around for long.

    Overworked and underappreciated

    Trouble Resolution (Current Employee)
    Rochester, NY

ProsGreat office building environment on the edge of downtown Rochester, convenient to lots of shops and restaurants on Monroe Avenue and Park Avenue. Decent salary. Decent amount of vacation. Good co-workers.

ConsThe Repair department has a number of serious problems, but other departments appear to be better run. Training is nearly nonexistent: new employees struggle to get the information they need to do their jobs, and experienced employees do not get the change to advance. The workload is extremely heavy, expectations are unrealistic, and employees are admonished for things that are out of their control. The metrics used to evaluate employees does not correlate with reality, and management is more focused onmaking the number look good rather than making real improvements. Employees are rewarded for doing shoddy work, as long as they do it fast. Management makes decisions without feedback and not held accountable for the results of their decisions. Most work shifts include weekend or late hours. There are major constraints on taking vacation days.

Advice to Senior ManagementHire training professionals to develop and implement a training program for the Repair department. Simplify the network and accelerate efforts to integrate the large number of legacy networks. Stop focusing on bean counting, and start focusing on affecting real improvements. Develop a culture that rewards good work.

    A company without direction

    Network Engineer (Current Employee)
    Pittsford, NY

ProsOne positive aspect,is that they do have training programs available such as Cisco CCENT / CCNA, VMWare ete and they have been flexible for working remotely. They also trust our team to do our thing with minimal micro-management.

ConsThis company has not been very straight forward with the direction they are heading. Management is secretive about plans and you are left in the dark a lot of the time. They like to buy out companies, then do nothing with them and subsequently shut them down, leaving you behind, putting on a front that they care and value you.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement has been unprofessional overall and will leave you assuming the worst when it comes to job security. They make seemingly snap decisions that have a real impact without any real discourse.
