    Pros

Fun, exciting company. Lots of attractive girls. Very friendly work environment. No micromanagement. The sales managers give you a lot of freedom and flexibility to run the day as you please Lots of support from team leaders and co-workers. You won't ever feel lost about what to do and how to do it. Professional work environment. Each sales rep gets two flat screen monitors, their own desk space, dual core processors and an advanced phone. Very efficient internal systems/their in house echo trak/echo iq software is fantastic location is wonderful. The building as a david barton gym and two or three nice restaurants. Lots of young people. You'll feel like your right out of college. No old geezers over here. Just hot girls and young guys.

    Cons

Compensation. The benefits may have improved since i left late 2008. But, for the most part, they suck. No matching. Health insurance package is waaay too expensive. As an inside sales rep, your on a monthly draw. The sales quotas come down to GP or gross profit. The monthly sales goals get dramatically harder to achieve. So, 3 months into this and you'll be overwhelmed how what your sales goal for the month is. Job promotion opportunities are minimal. The best you'll get to is team leader. From there on out, your stuck. Their starting to fire a loooot of people. Don't hit those numbers and your out. period.

    Advice to Management

Monthly sales goals/GP progression is unreasonable. For the first few months, the numbers make sense. After that, it gets unrealistic. Compensation package has to improve.

    Pros

You will learn a lot about logistics. The trainning is very good and you will be ready to hit the floor when the time comes.

    Cons

The pay could be better. The comp plan for commission could be adjusted so that you are better rewarded for your hard work.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees better. Work on comp plans. I think employees on the east coast would like to have the option to come in around 8:30.

    Pros

Career Growth Opportunites for those who put in the time to learn. Excellent Training before being placed into the job catagory or work team. On going training. Excellnet for new graduates as you learn about logisitcs which can propel you into other channels for continued growth.

    Cons

Some burn out if you do not manage your off hours time. You have to keep yourself motivated for some of the positions.

    Advice to Management

Keep training employees so they can advance. You already do this and it just needs to continue.

    Pros

The people that I work with are awesome. I am not micromanaged. The company is growing rapidly (room for growth).

    Cons

The company is growing rapidly, which means growing pains. There are many acquisistions, which brings new knowledge.

    Advice to Management

Please take into consideration what your employees are telling you. Many of us have been doing this for years. Many of us feel you don't want to improve process and there are no ways but your ways. I promise that if you implement some of the changes we suggest, your company would run smoother and be more profitable.

    Pros

Training is thorough, great opportunity for advancement, amazing work environment! The Dallas branch is amazing, we have a great view of downtown (The best balcony in Dallas!), the work environment is fun, energetic, and laid back! Beer Fridays and contest really keep friendly competition within the branch and our management is great and always full of encouragement!

    Cons

Hey if you don't like putting in hard work, like sales jobs, or waking up early then it's probably not the place for you.
