    Stay away if you can

    Director of Admissions (Former Employee)
    Atlanta, GA

ProsDeep down, there are some people that are trying to do a good job and make a positive impact on students.

ConsMarketing has been watered down by corporate and those at the campus level have no say.

Advice to Senior ManagementTake some time to think about your employees more. Managers at the campus level are mere puppets in corporate's plan to forget about values and solely focus on numbers.

Prosmanagement doesn't get into your classes and allows you a great deal of freedom to teach and design your classes…but you also don't get rewarded for working hard and well

Consfor profit school and makes decisions based on profits and not on good student results

Advice to Senior Managementvalue your faculty more..focus on the students

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Not a very structured organization

    Administrative (Current Employee)

    ProsOff weekends and holidays!

ConsNot very structured, too much favoritism

Advice to Senior ManagementUpper management should undergo a very in-depth training so that they can learn to handle situations professionally. Proper training would also provide more uniformity and once again STRUCTURE to the company!!

More work than you will ever want, not really worth it

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

Prosdecent pay. good benefits. My co-workers are my family.

ConsIf you have a family, you will never see them. You will work saturdays, evenings. Upper Management (EDMC) which controls the campus I work for is pretty much clueless, greedy, inconsistent in implementing the frequent policy change. They won't let go of abusive higher management because they make their "numbers". Hostile working environment. This company is hemorrhaging and there have been frequent layoffs.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to the employees! Out workloads have doubled! We are stressed out and cannot keep up with the frequent policy changes.

Working for a school that is partly owned by an investment bank is an exercise in contradictions

    Instructor (Current Employee)
    Seattle, WA

ProsGood toys for teachers and opportunities for teaching experiences

Conselimination of as many positions and benefits as possible

Advice to Senior ManagementEducation for profit- Really? Maximizing profit and maximizing education can be mutually exclusive at times. Which master will you follow?

    Okay for a while.

    Admissions Representative (Former Employee)
    Pittsburgh, PA

ProsGood pay, great location, great training program for inside sales/recruiting. Work population consists of dominantly people 1 - 5 years out of college.

ConsNegative work culture. Various work experiences based on who's team you are on. They frown on telling you just how important recruiting students is to your success during your career here.

Advice to Senior ManagementFocus more on a positive work culture.
