    Perfect academic year internship!

    Intern (Current Employee) Boston, MA

ProsThe people are absolutely amazing: friendly, relaxed, helpful, and always willing to answer any questions or offer guidance! If you're interested in education or non-profit work, this is a great opportunity for both professional and personal growth. Super relaxed and flexible in terms of hours, which makes it perfect for the academic year if you're in college.

ConsIt's a non-profit, so there aren't too many opportunities for rigorous, challenging work as an intern and the compensation is middle-of-the-road.

Advice to Senior ManagementI never got to interact with upper management since they're not located in Boston, but I have no suggestions.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Growing Pains...

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsSmart coworkers who are passionate about key issues
    Virtual work environment
Impact of program is positive and impactful

ConsGrowing pains - employee/program rapid growth
Not cultivating talent within - lack of promotion/professional development options
    No bonus structure
    Human Resource processes are poor

Advice to Senior ManagementCultivate leaders from within. Acknowledge those who are doing a great job earlier on. Provide incentives and professional development opportunities. Top level leadership needs work on roles and responsibilities.
