    Pros

Great benefits, great team of people, can learn a lot about hospitality industry.

    Cons

If looking for a long term career don't consider this company. Be prepared to be fired and replaced by someone who will work just as hard as you but for a lower salary. No security at night, new management cares more about saving a buck then your safety. Has had several bad incidence with parties, drugs, stabbing, etc still no concern nor changes from management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Show more appreciation for your loyal employees. Stop cutting corners with safety.

    Pros

stay cheaply at other Hilton hotels.

    Cons

Horrible management. Lying, stealing, sleeping on the job (literally). The HR director is also in charge of house keeping so there really is no one looking out for the employees. The GM does not wish to hear about any problems. Little training, poor pay and no following of policies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Clean House! The owners need to put in place someone who makes the place function cohesively. GM, FOM and HR/Director of Housekeeping all too worried about Trip advisor and not the hotel.

Former Employee - Night Audit in Sacramento, CA

    Pros

Good connection with a very large and wonderful parent company (Hilton Hotels). Wonderful travel discounts that permit you to stay at any Hilton properties at a more cost effective rate. Salary very competitive with the industry.

    Cons

This location had absolute zero room for advancement with the company. Communications between employees/managers/departments were non-existent. Annual raises based on performance never exceed $0.20/hr.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work on your communication skills, do not allow your personal feelings to influence you at work, show interest in the betterment of the careers of those who work for you and establish plans to build their advancement.

    Pros

I like how the managers are flexible with the schedule and willing to work around your other job. Co-workers are great.

    Cons

Pay is terrible. Restaurant never gets business. If someone does come in, they're more than likely there on a business trip and tip terribly or not at all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please consider those who maybe overqualified for their current position. Could use better pay.
