    Great Benefits !

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThis company has amazing benefit program.

    Consnot too much internal hiring.

Advice to Senior ManagementTreat everyone as you would want to be treated. Do not forget that " our people is what makes us fly" do not forget where you came from. I have see numerous times of people being promoted and being forced to do a lot of dirty work.

It is a good start, but....

Aircraft Customer Support Engineer (Current Employee) São José dos Campos, São Paulo (Brazil)

ProsIt is a great place to start your career.
    It has several training opportunities.
It is perhaps the only place in Brazil where engineering is done at a high level and in large scale.

ConsIt is difficult to move among different positions.
Once you reach a certain level it gets even more difficult as the salary increases and very few opportunities are given to the ones with experience (and have the highest salaries).
The company has no policy for expatriation so the company misses the opportunity to create a truly globalized environment (with workers from abroad in Brazil and vice-versa).
We usually say that the company is a "multi-local" company, instead of a multinational company, as it is in several countries, but the sites are all segregated.

Advice to Senior ManagementI would say salaries are ok, nothing out of ordinary.
Culture is an issue, it is fake, things are imposed under fear.
Everything gets political, people use good initiatives for self promotion (for example the program for productivity increase which fell in disuse mainly because middle management used it to self promote themselves by faking the numbers to show a better situation than the reality).

Embraer is an amazing company for those who dream of building and working with airplanes.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

Pros- One of the few opportunities to work in the development of high technology in Brazil.
    - São José dos Campos/SP (it's headquarters) is a nice, organized and relatively cheap city to live .
    - The company seems to take care of it's people.

Cons- Careers advance in the same timeframe as the development of aircrafts. What is regular time for the company can be the time of a life for people.
    - Not many options where to use the specialized knowledge gained there if you for whatever reason decide to leave.
    - Salaries for being highly specialized is about the same as for working with something else less demanding.
